At the end of December, I was invited to check out JustEyeware.com. JustEyeware is a website/company where you can easily and quickly order regular glasses or sunglasses at discounted prices. If you have a prescription, all you have to do is enter in the info and you are good to go. If you don't have a prescription, then you can just have plain lenses too. Surfing on the website was fun, but shipping issues and a total lack of customer service completely ruined this experience. First off, let's start with browsing/shopping the site. They have a large selection of lenses to choose from and I didn't exactly know where to begin. I don't wear prescription glasses,so I decided to look at their sunglasses selection first . . . since I don't really need plain regular glasses. I prefer square frames, so I began my search there. Off to the side, they have a search box that allows you to easily narrow down your selections. I ran my search by square shape, full frames, and metal. That ...

My Memories Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A few weeks back, I was asked to check out the MyMemories software. MyMemories is a digital scrapbooking software that allows you to create detailed digital scrapbooks. They are quick to make and less time consuming than making a regular paper scrap book, and you can share them with your friends and family easily. The program is pretty basic and easy to figure out. You can choose between using a template or creating your own with hundreds of images, assets, and fonts that are included with the software. You can also download more image/asset packs and templates from the website as well. Many of the packs are free, but they also have premium packs you can purchase that are very inexpensive. Plus, add in music and video...something that you can't do with a traditional scrapbook. If you go with the templates, then all you'll have to do for the most part is drop in your images and edit text. If you go with creating your own, however, you will be creating everything ...

Product Review – Mixbook Custom 5×7 Flat Holiday Cards
Recently I was asked to create a set of 30 holiday cards on Mixbook.com Mixbook offers several customizable items, including calenders and photo books. You can create your own unique items or use one of their templates. I decided to make some Christmas cards with a photo of Hannah. After browsing their holiday photo card page, I picked out the perfect template. From there, I went into their creator applet and uploaded my photo. After uploading, I was able to resize the photo and make other adjustments. I was also able to edit the text on both the front and back of the card. It took me about 10 minutes total to create the perfect Christmas card. After the order when through, the cards took about a week or so to arrive in the mail. They looked absolutely adorable. Overall, I really loved the cards. It was quick and easy, and the prices are pretty good too. The prices will vary depending on the type, size, and number of cards you want. You also have several methods of ...
Product Review – about.me
A week or so ago, I was invited to my first BzzAgent campaign for about.me. about.me is a website that lets you create a personal page that has a short bio and links all of your online sites...sort of like a business card. The page is fully customizable and completely free. The concept is pretty neat, so I headed over the to site and registered. After a quick and easy sign up, I picked out my custom URL, then got to work creating my page. You can choose from 17 different gallery backgrounds, or upload your own. I ended up using one of the gallery images since I don't have any good pictures of myself. Next, you can type in your info, then edit the font & colors. You have your name in big, bold letters, a headline consisting of whatever text your want, and a big bio space. I've left my bio empty for the moment because I have absolutely no idea what to write. You can then add in links to all your different online info, or 'services', like Blogger, WordPress, Twitter, and ...
RedWeek.com Review
One of the things that has been difficult for us to do the last couple of years is take a vacation...especially since my daughter was born. Money has been tight and gas prices have been crazy. However, all of that may end up changing since I've been reviewing RedWeek.com. RedWeek is a website that people can use to find affordable timeshare rentals or list their own. You contact the owner directly, so you are getting a better price. RedWeek has listings for just about anyplace you can come up with. They are a great bargains since you can get multiple rooms for your kids. Many also have kitchens so you can cook a dinner instead of eating out. There are also tons of activities to do since many timeshares are attached to resorts. I'm fairly familiar with renting condos for vacations since my family has been doing it for years. So, I started my search by looking for timeshares at my favorite place: South Padre Island, Texas. Six different place come up, a few of which I ...
