Last week, I was sent a 0.5oz syringe of D’OR24K to try out and review. It’s a non-surgical lifting serum/gel that that reduces puffiness and wrinkles. It’s the same as getting a facelift without the surgery. I actually thought at first that this involved an actual needle due to some of the product images. It made me a little nervous since I absolutely hate needles. Thankfully it doesn’t. You just pump a very small amount onto your fingers and massage it onto your clean skin. I noticed right away that my skin felt tighter. After several minutes I noticed that the area around my eyes wasn’t as puffy. It’s somewhat subtle, but I was able to notice a difference. I can definitely see where it would reduce wrinkles. My skin kept the tight feeling for the majority of my work day, which is eight hours. You can see some before and after pictures above. They aren’t very good because I stink at taking selfies. Plus I’m still getting the hang of my new phone. Overall, this is an ...

ThinkBaby Baby Body Essentials Set Review and Giveaway [ENDED]
Last week, I was asked by ThinkBaby to check out their Baby Body Essentials Set. This set contains Sunscreen SPF 50+, Shampoo & Body Wash, Baby Lotion, and Bubble Bath. The lotion is 3 ounces while the other bottles are 8 ounces and have pump tops. All of these items are non-toxic, all natural, and safe for little ones of all ages. This is a set I wish that I had when my daughter was born. I had a hard time finding stuff that didn’t aggravate her skin, and I ended up having to spend more than I wanted getting bubble bath and body wash. This set, however, has everything you need for your baby in one convenient pack. Even though she is school age now, the formulas are still very gentle for her and I absolutely love the sunscreen. It isn’t oily and last for about 80 minutes at a time. This set makes the perfect gift for baby showers and new moms, and it’s very affordable. It’s available on the ThinkBaby website for $29.99 (+ shipping). They also carry a wide line of other baby ...
Beauty Review – Magiforet Blackhead Peel Off Mask
Last week, I was asked to try out the Magiforet Blackhead Peel Off Mask. This is a charcoal mask that helps remove blackhead and other dirt from pores. It also comes with a 5 oz. spray bottle of rose oil to help sooth your skin after peeling off the mask. Have you see those close-up videos on social media of people pulling stuff out of their skin with the masks? Well, this is that stuff…or at least like it. I have been curious to see if this works as well as the videos and pics. I’m happy to say it does. I am also unhappy to say that it’s a bit painful. Seriously, this is the mask equivalent of duct tape. It was not pleasant to remove, but the paint was worth it. There was all sorts of stuff coming up with the mask. My only concern is that some of it may have been hair. If that’s case, then I think I will soon be able to challenge my cousin to an epic beard battle. LOL! To use, first wash your face to remove any oils. I suggest that you use a hot towel to help open ...
Beauty Review – Blackhead Tweezers Extractor Travel Tool Kit
Two weeks ago, I was asked to try out and review the Blackhead Tweezers Splinter Needle Extractor Travel Tool Kit from Lifestance. There are two kits available: 2-piece kit with a microfine loop needle and a bend curved tip tweezers, and a 5-piece kit that comes with two addition types of tweezers and an extra microfine loop needle. All the tools are made of surgical grade stainless steel and can be used to quickly and easily deal with pimples, blackheads, and ingrown hairs. I received the 5-piece set and it came in a stainless steel travel case. I'm pretty familiar with the loops since I've used them for a long time to deal with blackheads. I've seen a ton of videos on Facebook lately showing curved tip tweezers and I was most interested in trying those. Unfortunately, there were not any instructions on how to use them when I first received the kit...so I had to play around with them. There is a bit of a how-to guide up on the Amazon ordering page now as I write this, so ...
Product Review – LeWonde Back Plus
Last week, I was sent a LeWonde Back Plus to try out and review. The Back Plus is a plastic back support designed to help ease back pain. It can be used in chairs or on the floor paired with exercises. The plastic arch is adjustable, allowing it to rise to different heights. This looked like a neat product, and I was interested in maybe trying it at work just to see how it would do. The first thing I noticed taking it out of the box is how hard it is. It is not very flexible at all and I had a heck of a time trying to get the arch set up. One side slides partially out (as seen in the picture) and you can place the arch in the slots. You then slide the side back, causing the arch to rise. Sound great in print, but it's not as easy as it sounds. It took several days of messing with it, and even then I kept thinking it was going to break. You have to apparently flex and use it a lot before it become flexible enough to do it easily. I personally don’t find it to be all that ...
Product Review – Micrite 3D All Cleanser Cream from Swissvita Skin Lab
A few weeks ago, I was asked to try out the Micrite 3D All Cleanser Cream form Swissvita Skin Lab. This face wash is for all skin types, and helps unclog pores and remove dirt and oil. It helps reduce the amount of blackheads, whiteheads and acne breakouts you get, as well as repair skin and promote collagen productions . It comes in a 3.5 oz tube. As always, I am eager to try out new facial cleansers, especially any for anti-ageing and sensitive skin. This cleanser is definitely a lot nicer than some of the other’s I’ve tried in the past. The cleanser itself is a very silky feeling cream. It foams up quite a bit once its wet, so you don’t need to use very much of it. It has a very light pleasant scent, and left my skin feeling very soft and clean. It hasn’t bothered my skin all that much. I had two small patches of dryness, but that was due to the new sponge I have been using (it’s a little abrasive). I have had a few spots of acne flare up, but I think that is more ...
