Product Review – groOrganic Garden Planner
groOrganic offers many services on their site, the most interesting of which is their garden planner. The garden planner is an online program that allows you draw out your garden plans, as well as input what your planning to grow. You are also able to view planting and harvesting dates specific to your area. It requires no download to use, but you do have to have a membership in the site. The application is very easy to use. First, you enter you zip code so that you can view your frost dates and edit your growing season attributes. I set mine to a split season since I can't grow anything during the hottest part of the summer. Next, you input the dimension of your garden and then drag and drop in your veggies. There are also several shape and text tools that allow you to make notes and mark out features. I used the rectangle tool to mark out the area where I have stepping stones. When I had the general layout out done, I spent some time changing up the veggies I had ...

Expert on ShopSquad
A few weeks ago, I was invited to become one of the first wave of experts for ShopSquad. ShopSquad, which officially launched yesterday, is a site that helps you find the perfect item by chatting with experts. The site covers a variety of areas, including computers, sporting goods, food & win, and babies. All you have to do is type in a key word...like say for instance "sippy cups". You will then be taken to a screen that lists all the people who are knowledgeable with sippy cups.If your curious or needing help finding an item, you can contact me on the site via my profile. I'm live in site Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST (central time). If I'm not there, leave a question and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Here's some articles about the launch:http://venturebeat.com/2011/02/24/shopsquad-launch/ ...

Product Review – Fisher-Price Precious Planet Crib-to-Floor Mirror
I'd been looking for any sort of mirror or activity station to attach to Hannah's crib...so she would stop trying to chew her way out. I didn't want anything overly huge or bulky, but wasn't too sure what to get. Eventually, I ran across this at Wal-Mart. Hannah immediately saw it and was all but lunging out of the shopping cart trying to get it off the shelf. I figured it was worth a try since Hannah seemed to be really taken with it. Attaching it to the side of the crib is easy. It ties on with two thick strings. So far they have held up very well under Hannah's daily assaults. I was worried at first about them coming undone, but I've noticed that the knots get tighter the more she pulls on it. If fact, I can't get one of them undone anymore. The base of the mirror has four activity feet: two of them are rattles, one squeaks, and the other jingles. The mirror itself has withstood hours of drool, poking, kicking, and chewing...and still looks almost new. The best ...
