Two weeks ago, I was sent a set of Ozeri Serafino Double Wall Insulated Beverage and Coffee Glasses. The glasses are made of heat and shatter resistant borosilicate glass. This keeps your hands cool when drinking a hot drink and also keeps condensation off the glass when you have a cold drink. The set comes with two glasses & each one holds 12 oz of liquid. I was interested in trying these because they looked very useful to me. I drink a lot of hot tea & hot cocoa. I have a ton of mugs, but even they tend to be a bit too hot to handle at times. I also have to keep after my husband about putting drinks on coasters so out antique tables don’t get messed up. You would think that after seven years of marriage he’d learn/remember….but he doesn’t. The glass has a contour/indention that helps give you a good grip. This makes them easy to hold on to. As far as keeping your hand cool, they work great. I’ve had tea and cocoa in them with no problem what so ever. And they ...

Product Review – Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan
A few weeks back, I got another opportunity to test out one of Ozeri’s Green Earth Pans. This time I got an 8 inch Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan. The pan has an ultra-safe ceramic coating that is 100% PTFE and PFOA free & scratch resistant. I have used my other Ozeri pan quite a bit since I got it, so I was very excited to get to try this one as well and see if it was just as good. The inside of the pan is completely smooth, without the grooved pattern, and it has a thicker handle. You also don’t have to use any type of cooking spray, oil, or butter. Since receiving the pan, I’ve cooked eggs and grilled sandwiches in it multiple times a week. So far, I’ve not had one piece of food get stuck in it at all. When I’m done, all I have to do is wipe out the pan & it’s good to go. Overall, I am truly impressed with this pan. Nothing sticks! As long as you take care of it and don’t use any oil/spray/butter, then it should last you a long time. The pan is ...
Product Review – Shandali Travel Towel
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. A few weeks back, I was sent a Shandali Travel Towel. The towel is made to be light weight, very absorbent, and fast drying…making it the perfect travel item no matter where you are going. It is available in two sizes, small (20"x40" inches) and medium (24"x48" inches). I received the medium in River Blue. I was surprised how thin it was when I first received it. I was even more surprised at how much water it absorbed. I was not only able to completely dry off my daughter after a bath, but also get her hair almost completely dry as well without the towel hardly feeling damp. It was dry again in a few minutes without ringing the water out. I also used it to help dry the seat in my car after the sunroof leaked during a thunderstorm. It took up the majority of the water before having to ring it out. Once it dried, maybe about 10 minutes later, I was able to dry them the rest of the way. Since the towel is so ...
Product Review — Sterling Silver Ornament from Reed & Barton
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Last week, I got to order a tree ornament from Reed & Barton. Reed & Barton has been one of the country’s foremost makers of fine tableware & giftware for over 187 years. They sell items ranging from silverware to jewelry boxes. They have a nice selection of ornaments, including blown glass, Baby’s First Christmas, & sterling silver. After looking around, I picked out the Annual Christmas Bell, which is sterling silver. The bell comes engraved with ‘Christmas 2013’ and you can also personalize the back if you want. The personalized engraving will cost $8 for a monogram or $10 for two lines of six letters each. The bell arrived within a few days of ordering and came in a lovely gift box. The bell was wrapped in paper to protect it, and the clapper (striking ball-thing inside) was also wrapped separate. It was a little tricky to attach it to the clip in the bell, but once I got it on, it was ...
Product Review — Ozeri Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan
Last week, I was sent a 8 inch Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Panfrom Ozeri. The Green Earth pan is a super non-stick pan that you don’t need to spray or coat with anything. The nonstick coating is called GREBLON and is made in Germany, while the pan itself is made in China. These types of pans have been advertised a great deal for a while now, and I’ve never gotten the chance to try one before. I was very excited since I don’t have any small nonstick pans. The two pans that I do have, a 12 inch and a griddle, constantly get food stuck to them and a have to coat them with something. The pan it’s self has a good weight to it, and the handle is riveted on. The bottom of the inside has a grooved pattern, which also helps keep food from sticking. I decided to cook scrambled eggs in it, since that always seems to stick. I didn’t put anything in the pan other than the eggs; no butter or nonstick spray. I was worried that the eggs would at least stick in the groves, but ...
Product Review — Ozeri INSTAVACK Green Earth Food Container Storage Set
Last week, I was sent an Ozeri INSTAVACK Green Earth food container storage set. Ozeri is a maker of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. They carry a large number of products for kitches, bathrooms, and more. The set comes as eight pieces: 4 bottoms of various sizes & 4 matching lids. Each container can be vacuum sealed by pressing down on the lid once it’s latched. This helps keep food fresher for longer periods of time. The bottom has a wave design that keeps fruits and vegetables elevated and out of their juices, which can cause them to go bad faster. There is also a dial the let you keep track of the days as well. I go through plastic containers like crazy. My husband tends to leave them outside if he’s grilling, and I wear the cheaper ones out when marinating assorted meat. The Orezi containers are made of a thick, sturdy plastic. The lid has closure flaps on all four sides and seals tightly. When I turned the tub upside down with beans in it, noting ...
