While I was on vacation, I received the best pitch ever for a product review. The item was The Snugg is a company that makes high quality cases for iPhones, Kindles, tablets & more. Here are a few snippets from the email: "If you are still reading, then thank you. I am lucky enough to represent a company called Snugg. I appreciate that there are trillions of people who sell covers, and I won’t ram a load of facts and figures down your throat and will try to keep it to a [minimum.] Your blog is fantastic so I would like to send you a cover, feel free to keep/distribute at your will, without charge, and I would invite you to leave a frank, honest and genuine review of our product. If you could save my chances of continuing gainful employment by reviewing these products[…]"This is a guy who loves his job and the company he works for, and he totally deserves a raise. Since Snugg offers a variety of products, I got to pick which one I wanted to review. It goes without saying that I ...

Product Review – Poyomi Photobooks
A few weeks ago, I was asked to create a photo book at Poyomi. Poyomi allows you to upload your images and create custom photo books of various sizes. Unlike the other photo books I’ve tried in the past, Poyomi books are paperback, affordable, and you can place bulk orders. Finding a company that offers a good photo book has been a bit difficult. I look for them mainly to be able to show off my photography and graphic design to potential customers. The hard cover ones are nice, but they tend to be very costly and you don’t get a lot of pages. The very first thing I noticed about Poyomi is that you can get a ton of pages for little cost. You can also have multiple images per page with text descriptions or one image per page. I went with one image per page in a 40 page book. I originally had some descriptions but I took them out since they printed over the bottom of the image. It only took me a few minutes to upload all of my images, and a few more minutes to arrange ...
Product Review – LoopRope
A while back, was sent a LoopRope. LoopRope is a large loped bungee cord with lops fastened in it, which allows for easy hanging or fastening. Each LoopRope comes with two double-ended, stainless steel carabineers. The LoopRope I received was 5 feet. We usually don’t have much need of any type of bungee cord unless we are getting unless we are going out of town or getting something bulky that needs to go in the back of my husband’s truck. I ended up taking it with us on vacation since we were taking two kayaks and several fishing rods. We used it for the fishing rods. We were able to run the ends of the rods through the loops and they were held securely without being bunched up altogether. Since then, we’ve used it to hold up a few sheets of plywood in the shed. What I like best about the LoopRope is that so far it hasn’t gotten stretched out. Regular bungee cords always seem to lose their elasticity after a few uses and end up not being very stretchy at all. The LoopRope has ...
Cellulite MD Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A month ago, I was asked to try out Cellulite MD. Cellulite MD is a top seller on CelluliteTreatment.org, and helps break down fatty tissue, stop fluid retention & promote skin health…all of which helps get rid of unwanted cellulite. Years ago I used a cellulite cream from Avon that worked fairly well, but they have long since stopped carrying it. I’ve looked for a long time to find something was both affordable and worked as claimed, but never did have much luck since the majority of high rated brands are over $100 per bottle. When looking up info on Cellulite MD, I found a mix of positive and negative reviews, but I still wanted to try it out to see if it worked. It’s recommended to use it twice a day; once in the morning and once in the evening. I started out using it on my thighs, where I have the most noticeable cellulite. A little bit of the cream seems to go a long way, so I didn’t have to use much of it. I noticed right away that my skin was a lot softer and felt ...
Product Review – 20 Mule Team Borax
A while back, I was sent a box of 20 Mule Team Borax from Purex Insiders. Borax has been around for a long time, and is a 100% natural mineral used for cleaning. It softens hard water, boosts your regular detergent, & can be used for a number of cleaning uses around the house. You can also use it in a number of crafts as well. My grandmother used Borax and swore by it. I had never used it before aside from a few school projects, so I was eager to try it out. The box arrived while I was on vacation & was waiting for me when I got home. I immediately used it in my husband’s laundry. His socks can walk themselves home at the end of the day, and they never really get clean. So, I added ½ cup of Borax in with the load. Not only did they come out completely clean, they also didn’t smell anymore. After that, I started adding it to everything. It’s really great for the towels since it gets the mildew smell out of them. I’ve also noticed that the washing machine is also a ...
Product Review – Natur’el Tea
A few weeks ago, I was sent some samples of Natur’el Tea. Natur’el Tea has a large variety loose leaf tea to choose from. All the teas are imported and mixed at their stores, which is based out of Canada. I got to pick out five flavors to try.I love loose leaf tea and was very excited to try them out. The tea was organized by type, and each type has a ton of varieties. Most of the varieties are available year round, but a few aren't. After browsing around the site for quite some time, I pick out the following teas: Daily Detox, Creamy Earl Grey, Cinnamon Plum, Houjicha, and Stress Relieving. The Daily Detox and Stress Relieving were my favorites by far. The stress reliving tea wasn’t too strong or too weak, while the detox was sweet with a hint of spice. Houjicha is a green tea that is usually found at retreats at Lake Motosuko in the Japanese Alps. I picked this one out for my husband because he loves green tea. It was very strong and he loved it. The Creamy Earl Grey was ...
