A few weeks back, I received a bottle each of Pure Garcinia Cambogia Extract & Slender Cleanse Advance from Team Innovations Labs to test out and review. The Garcinia Cambogia burns fat and suppresses appetite, while the Slender Cleanse Advance gently cleanses you system of toxins and build up from the walls of your colon and intestines. I’ve tried another brand of Garcinia Cambogia before and had an unpleasant time of it with horrible stomach cramps. I wasn’t sure is this was going to do anything, but I hoped that maybe the blend would be different from the last. A big issue I ran into was that the directions on the bottle differ from what they tell you on the Amazon page. The bottle tells to take two capsules daily on the Carcina Cambogia, while the site says to take two capsules three times daily. I stuck with what the bottle said. For the Cleanse, you take one capsule thirty minutes before you eat, twice daily. There were no instructions as far as if you take them ...

Product Review – Copper Wear Knee Sleeve
A few weeks back, I was sent a Copper Wear Knee Sleeve to try out and review. It’s an ‘As Seen On TV’ product and they make an entire line of copper clothing and supports. The design incorporates specially formulated high-performance nylon, and is impregnated with heat-conducting copper fibers. This helps necessary blood flow and provides essential joint compression. As with the previous copper knee product I tested, I got a Large (17 1/2"-19"). It was very comfortable, and not insanely tight like the other. In fact, it was almost a little loose sometimes depending on how much my leg is swelling for the day. I can wear it all day and it doesn’t make my skin sweat or get itchy. It’s also great for compression and my knee does feel better when I’m wearing it. Now, on to the big question: Is it better because of the copper? I can’t really say one way or another. I’ve got several compression & support sleeves lying around, and I use them all depending on what is going on with my ...
Product Review – Copper Fit Compression Sleeve
A few weeks ago, I was sent a Copper Fit Compression Sleeve to test out and review. It’s made with lightweight antimicrobial performance fabric infused with the highest quality copper, and provides comfortable compression for support and extended wear. It helps improve circulation, prevents strain and speeds healing. I’ve heard a lot over the years about copper having healing/health properties, and this is the first time I’ve tried a product with copper in it. I opted for the knee sleeve since I’m always looking for something to help with the fluid buildup & lingering pain in my right knee (which has occurred daily to some extent since I had the knee surgery a few years back). The first think I noticed right away was that the upper band was very tight on my thigh. I even went back and re-measured to make sure that I got the right size, a Large (17 1/2"-19"), which I did. I was able to wear it for a little bit, but had to take it off 15 to 20 minutes later after my leg ...

Product Review – Bamboo Pro™ Self-Warming Knee Support
A few weeks ago, I was sent a Bamboo Pro™ Self-Warming Knee Support to test out and review. It contains Bamboo Charcoal Technology that offers self-warming properties, which activates with your body heat to bring restorative warmth to your muscles, cartilage, and joints. You can wash in the washing machine, and you can also set it in sunlight or under a full spectrum light bulb once a month for an hour to get rid of any odors. I still get pain and stiffness in my right knee, even though I had the surgery on it a little over 2 years ago, so I was interested in trying this out to see if it would help some. I got an X-Large, just to be on the safe side due to the fact that I still get a lot of swelling at times. It fits very well and is comfortable. There are some days that I notice it being a little loose, which is great because that means the swelling is down. And it does warm up! It’s great for cold nights. It keeps my knee warm and I don’t hurt as much in the morning. Overall, I ...
Product Review – Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream
A few weeks back, I was sent a 4oz tub of Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream to test out and review. It contains organic cocoa butter and shea butter, alongside lots of pure plant oils and vitamins, to work reduce stretch marks & scars. It’s organic and free from harsh chemicals. I’m always looking to try out different creams for stretch marks, so I was interested in trying this one. It’s a thick, creamy lotion with a pleasant smell. I used it one only one of my thighs to try to compare if there was any fading. I used it about once every other day for a few weeks. The effects are subtle, but there. While you can still somewhat see the marks, they are a lot lighter and the skin is softer. I think that over prolonged use, the marks would definitely be faded enough to where you don’t see them anymore. Overall, it does work very well on stretch marks. I have an only surgery scar on my right arm that I’ve had since middle school that never really healed. I will ...
