Last week, I was asked to try out the Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask. The clay mask is made with natural ingredients, including Kaolin Clay, Plant Stem Cells, Spirulina, CoQ10, and hibiscus and cranberry fibers. It’s designed to improve your skin tone, tighten pores, lessen the appearance of wrinkles, reduce redness, and naturally decrease the level of pro-aging toxins. I have reviewed several Valentia products in the past and had great experiences with them, so I was very excited for the opportunity to try this out. The mask comes in a good-sized 4floz jar. The clay is and off-white tan color with flecks in it. It has a pleasant aroma, but I cannot place the scent. Like typical masks, you apply to the face and leave it on for 15 to 20 or until it dries, and then you gently wipe it off. I used it after taking a shower, so my skin was already clean & my pores open. I only had to use a very small amount. You can hardly tell there is any missing from the jar. It ...

Product Review – Beardsmen Beard Shampoo & Wash
Two weeks ago, I was sent a bottle of Beardsmen Beard Shampoo & Wash for my husband to try out. It’s made to clean & soften your bead, and stop the itch. It’s made from all natural oils and the scent matches that of the Bold Forest Oil. My husband tried a few Beardsmen products several months back and really liked them. He was eager to see how the shampoo would work. He typically uses soap or which ever facial wash he decides to use, which leaves the hair course and itchy. He tried it out in the shower after he shaved. It comes in a good sized bottle, and he didn’t have to use very much…just a small amount. The scent was very subtle and not overpowering. It left his goatee feeling soft and the hairs weren’t going every which way. The softness lasted all day. He also said that he noticed that his skin wasn’t itching nearly as much as it normally would as well. Overall, he really liked it. It does everything it says it does, plus it will last you a while. It ...
Product Review – Miss Landson Detangling Brush
A few weeks back, I was asked to try out the Miss Landson Detangling Brush. The brush is designed to gently detangle hair and message your scalp to promote hair growth. It works on short or long hair, and wet or dry hair. My hair is pretty short, so I don’t have to worry too much about knots and tangles in my hair. My daughter’s, however, is long and usually ends up looking like a rats nest by the time she comes home from school. A lot of the kids mess with her pony tail during the day, leaving it half out of the hair tie and a knotted mess. She hates having her hair brush because it pulls and tugs no matter how much detangler spray I put in it. I was interested in seeing it this brunch would work and if it would make getting her hair done easier. It works, but only to a point. In the mornings when her hair isn’t too bad, the brush has to issues getting through it and works very well. After school is another issue. It doesn’t work nearly as well. It tugs a lot, and she really ...
TxTpressions Bandage Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
Last week, I was sent a gift pack of TxTpressions Bandages from Gotta Bandage. I reviewed a different style of their bandages a few months back. These bandages feature emoticons and text expressions on them in vibrant colors. We've all been sick with an assortment of sinus infections as of late, so we didn't get to use the bandages a whole lot. However, my daughter has been plastering them all over herself...primarily her bellybutton. They stay one pretty well considering how much running around she does. She really love the ones with the faces the best (those are the ones she puts on her belly). Overall, the bandages are very cute and a great change from plain bandages. You can check out all of the other products that Gotta Bandage has on their website. I received the above mentioned items for free to help facilitate my review. All opinions are 100% my own. The Giveaway Gotta Bandage wants to give one lucky reader their own gift pack that includes 2 TxTpressions ...
Boo Boo Monster Bandage Review & Flash Giveaway [ENDED]
A few days ago, I was sent a Boo Boo Monster Bandage pack from Gotta Bandage to check out and review. The pack came with 3 boxes of bandages, a tote, stickers, and a tin box with bandages in it. The bandages glow in the dark and have a monster on them. I think the bandages are adorable and wore one of the werewolf ones for a few days on a cut. My daughter likes the Dracula one. They say on very well and they really do glow in the dark. The other bandages int eh tin were neat too. They were called TxTpressions & had phrases like 'lol' and 'btw' printed on them. Overall, these are super cute & definitely worth having on had for Halloween. Gotta Bandage has several bandage designs available, and you can check them out on their website. Product Review – CratosFit Thigh Toner
A few weeks back, I was sent a CratosFit Thigh Toner from CartosFit. It is effective for toning your thighs, triceps, buttocks, hips, pecs, arms & stomach. It is also covered with comfortable foam, and is lightweight. These have been around for a long time. I tried one a long time about but the spring was so tight that it was hard to get it to move. This one has resistance, but not so much that you can’t move it. It’s the perfect amount. The foam is very comfortable, making using the thigh toner that much nicer to use. I think my favorite part is that I can use it for multiple areas…primarily my arms. I’m able to get a more thorough workout that way. I can also use it multiple times a day too without wearing myself out. I tend to use if for a few minutes for each area. I haven’t noticed a huge difference yet, but I have noticed that my arms look a little better. Overall, I think it a great addition to your exercise routine. It’s simple to use & with regular use you ...
