A few weeks ago, I was sent some bags & pucks of Pine Brothers Throat Drops. Pine Brothers have been around since 1870 and their throat drops are different than the ones you normally seen in stores. Their drops are softish…in other words, quasi-gummy.I was very surprised when I received my sample package & pulled out bag after bag of throat drops. I was sent the Combo Family Pack (Cherry & Lemon flavors), and we immediately put them to good use over the course of the last month while we have all been in various stages of ‘plague’. The drops are hard until you put them in your mouth. Once they get moistened, they turn gummy enough that you can gnaw on them for an extended period of time without breaking apart…giving them more than enough time to kick in. Other throat drops I’ve used in the past only seem to numb my mouth. That’s great if I have a toothache, but it does nothing for my throat. The Pine Bros. drops don’t affect my mouth in any way and works almost immediately on my ...

Product Review – Ateevia Botanica PRIME
A few weeks ago, I was sent a sample of Ateevia Botanica’s PRIME, an anti-inflamatory cream. PRIME is made from organic & all natural ingredients, giving it a very unique look and feel. It is effective in providing relief from some of the most common pain conditions in joints, muscles, and tissues…including arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, strains and more.I was excited to try this out since I’ve been having a lot of pain after my knee surgery & I’m still getting random pain from carpal tunnel in my hand. I was surprised at the consistency and look to the cream. It’s kind of a greenish/brownish color and very oily. It also doesn’t have much of a smell, through you do get a bit of a plant (best way to describe it) smell right after you put it on…but it’s not bad.I started out using it on my left knee where the joint had been sore from having to support more of my body weight since the surgery. The pain was gone in a matter of minutes and didn’t come back the rest of the day. ...
Dermagist Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
For the past month, I’ve been testing products from Dermagist. Dermagist makes a unique line of professional facial care products. I was sent their Ultimate Acne Clarifying System, which consists of three products that products major results in less than a month.I’ve battled nasty acne breakouts since I was a teen, and tried every affordable acne product out there…from Proactive to Clearasil to AcneFree, and even the few products I’ve reviewed on this blog. Nothing ever seems to truly clear it up. In fact, most products are overly strong & make it worse. The worst experience I had was is Proactive, which I tried a few months before I got married. I ended up looking like one of their ‘before’ pictures and almost didn’t get it cleared up in time for my bridal pictures & wedding. It then took several months to get them to cancel my membership/account & to get them to stop charging my debit card.As I mentioned earlier, Dermagist’s acne system consists of three products: detoxifying ...
Product Review – Dr. Max Powers Scar Serum
Last week, I was sent a bottle of Dr. Max Powers Scar Serum. Dr. Max Powers’ products provide vitamins & supplements that your body needs when doing heavy workouts. I previously reviewed another of their products, the stretch mark cream, so I know that their stuff works pretty well. The scar serum works on both new and old scars. For new scars, you apply it twice a day for 8 weeks. On old scars, you apply it three times a day for 3-6 months. The only noticeable old scar that I have is on my arm from a surgery years ago. I’ve used it as directed for the past week or so, and have noticed a slight difference in its appearance. The edges seem a bit lighter and blend into the surrounding skin more than what they did. Give the length of time that you need to use the product, I’m not really able to give a really good review of it as of yet. So far, everything looks very promising in the old scar on my arm, but I want to test it on a new scar. Since I will be having knee ...
Creative Bioscience Diet 1234 Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
For the past three months, I’ve been participating in the Creative Bioscience 90 Day Weight Loss Challenge. Creative Bioscience has been innovation the weight loss industry for quite a while now. They have a large number of products available right now that work a variety of different ways. The product that I was taking was the Diet1234. It boosts energy and suppresses the appetite, and you don’t have to count carbs or be on any type of food diet. I’ve been trying to get rid of weight and fluid since I had Hannah and up until the point that I started the challenge, I hadn’t had a whole lot of luck. Stuff would work for a short time & the fluid would come back quickly after I was finished taking it. Plus, you have to be working out a lot, and with my knee being mess up it was next to impossible to do anything. Once I started taking Diet 1234, I noticed results fairly quickly. You only have to take two pills in the morning for breakfast and then you are good for the rest ...
Toe Juice Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A few weeks back, I was sent a ToeJuice/Hogwash combo pack. Toe Juice is a nifty little liquid that can be used to treat anything dealing with your skin…and I mean anything. Hogwash is a hand sanitizer. Both utilize dermavine, a blend of plant based extracts that enhance the skins natural repairing ability. Now, this all sounds like one of those ‘too good to be true’ type things. There are tons of stories out there where people have use Toe Juice to get rid of warts, dry skin and even bug bites. However, my husband and I decided to put it through our own tests. My husband has horrible calluses on his fingers and hands that have built up from over 15 years of moving freight & pallets, breaking down boxes, and everything else they throw at him at Walmart. He’s tried for years to get rid of them, and has had little to no success. After reading up on Toe Juice, he bought a pack of those flat cotton pads that can be used for make-up. He soaked the cotton pads with the Toe ...
