A few weeks ago, I was sent some samples of Natur’el Tea. Natur’el Tea has a large variety loose leaf tea to choose from. All the teas are imported and mixed at their stores, which is based out of Canada. I got to pick out five flavors to try.I love loose leaf tea and was very excited to try them out. The tea was organized by type, and each type has a ton of varieties. Most of the varieties are available year round, but a few aren't. After browsing around the site for quite some time, I pick out the following teas: Daily Detox, Creamy Earl Grey, Cinnamon Plum, Houjicha, and Stress Relieving. The Daily Detox and Stress Relieving were my favorites by far. The stress reliving tea wasn’t too strong or too weak, while the detox was sweet with a hint of spice. Houjicha is a green tea that is usually found at retreats at Lake Motosuko in the Japanese Alps. I picked this one out for my husband because he loves green tea. It was very strong and he loved it. The Creamy Earl Grey was ...

Product Review – EpiCor
A while back, I was asked to test out EpiCor. EpiCor is a natural ingredient that works to help boost your immune system. I was sent two bottles, along with some extra goodies as well.I had somewhat mixed results with this one. Since I’m not exactly sure what all is in it, I was a bit leery of taking it since I have medicine allergies. Plus, I already take multi-vitamins and drink a lot of orange juice for the Vitamin C, & I didn’t want to have any bad reactions to stuff mixing. When I first received my bottle of EpiCor, I had a sinus infection, so I had to wait to finish the antibiotic I was taking before I could start. I took a pill every other day just to be safe side. While taking it, I didn’t really notice any difference in the way I felt. I still was having problems with my sinuses, but was treating it with Claritin. I did notice that this didn’t seem to make my stomach hurt like the probiotics did in the past. I think that if I was taking it daily that I would get better ...
Product Review – Red Envelope
I was recently invited to try out Red Envelop, another sister site to both Pro Flowers and Shari’s Berries which I have reviewed in the past. Red Envelope is a gift site that carries unique items along with several items from its sister sites. Like the other sites, the layout is the same and very easy to navigate. You can search for gift items according to who you are buying it for (for him, for her, ect…), and then break it down the type of item (outdoor, toys, ect…). There are a wide range of very unique item to choose from, including wooden watchers, electronic gadgets & personalized items. I browsed through the Anniversary Gifts for Him, since our anniversary is next month. It only took me a few minutes to find a very neat magnetic light that he can use on his grill. Normally, I would have a line to the item, but it has since sold out and I cannot find it on the site now. I received the gift about a week later, several days sooner that it was scheduled. I’ve hidden it the ...
Product Review – Sun Shadz
I was recently sent a sample of Sun Shadz. Sun Shasz is an all-natural micronized mineral sunscreen developed specifically for the scalp by Monimay. It comes in a variety of colors (called Hair Shadz), to match your hair and can also be used to cover up your roots between coloring. I received the clear. I was very interested in this one due to the amount of time I am outside during the summer. My scalp always seems to get sunburnt pretty bad, especially when working out in the yard. To use Sun Shadz, all you do it brush it on. There is a brush attached to the bottle, which looks like a make-up brush. It’s quick and easy. I noticed that it gave my hair some extra volume and didn’t irritate my skin. I haven’t gotten to be outside much, since it’s not quite spring yet, but I look forward to using it soon. Plus, since it’s SPF 15 & safe for all ages, my daughter can use it too. Overall, this is a pretty nifty product. However, the only downside is the price. It ...
Smile Brilliant! Review and Giveaway [ENDED]
A few weeks ago, I was sent a Smile Brilliant LED Teeth Whitening System. This is a professional grade system that is easy and only takes about 20 to thirty minutes to do it. My teeth are constantly stained since I drink a lot of tea. I hate messing with the white strips because they always seem to slide off and don’t really do much. Needless to say, I was very eager to try this one out. The kit came with a tray that covers your teeth, whitening gel pen, additional brush, and an LED activation light. The system is very simple and only takes a few minutes to apply. On the first use, you need to pop the brush tip off the pen and use the end of the extra brush to press in the seal that’s in the brush tip. This opens up the tip so that the gel comes out. After that, simply slap the tip back into place and apply the gel to your teeth. Then all you need to do is put the tray in, and then put the LED in (holding it between your lips). You can take the LED out after 20 minutes, if ...
Product Review – Sencha Shots
A while back, I was asked to try out Sencha Shots, small cans of very concentrated tea that are healthy for you. Sencha Shots are made by ITO EN. ITO EN is a company who cares about the environment and social responsibility. We recycle our used tea leaves from production and upcycle them to make park benches, uniforms, pens and more. We work with Whole Foods Non-profit Whole planet to alleviate poverty in the developing worlds, and much more. These shorts are high in caffeine and are intended to be used as a coffee or espresso replacement. I was sent two flavors, green and oolong. I had a lot of difficulty with this one due to shipping issues and poor communication with the company. As with all reviews done through Tomoson, you are given a few weeks to receive the product and get the review done. If you go past the deadline, it’s late and it drops your rating. After over three weeks of waiting, I hadn’t received my samples. I contacted the rep through Tomoson several times and ...
