Two weeks ago, I got sent a bottle of the new Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash w/ Amazing B. Vitamin Boost Body Wash gives your skin a daily boost of vitamins, leaving it healthy and soft. I love trying out new body washes, especially any which help moisturize skin. I do have sensitive skin; however I usually don’t have anywhere near as much trouble with body washes as I do facial cleansers. There are a few body washes I use on a regular basis, but they don’t really make my skin soft. The body wash has a light kiwi scent and makes a nice, rich lather. After using the Vitamin Boost the first time, I noticed that my skin felt a little softer. After using it for a little over a week, my skin feels very soft and the tone is a lot better. I don’t have to moisturize my elbow anymore where the skin gets dry, and the skin around the surgery scars on my knee isn’t drying out anywhere near as much now. Overall, I really like the body wash. It’s improved my skin overall, and I really ...

Product Review — Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation
A few weeks back, I was sent some loose mineral foundation from Ageless Derma. The foundation is fine enough to be used in an airbrush, and can easily be mixed to make cream & liquid foundations. It contains natural anti-inflammatories and anti-oxidants to fight free radical damage, & give your skin a barely there glow. Since having my daughter, I don’t get out as much as I used to, so I don’t wear makeup all that often anymore unless it’s a special occasion or I’m trying to cover up a breakout. I’ve never tried loose powder of any kind before, so this was a bit new to me. I ended up taking it with me to FenCon for use with my hastily put together costume. For art of my costume, I was going to wear a pair of latex elf ears & I needed them to match my skin as much as possible. After using my regular liquid foundation on them, I used the powder foundation on them to lighten out the color a bit. I simply used one of my blush brushes to apply it. It evened out the ...
Product Review — Ageless Derma Anti-Aging Glycolic Facial Gel Cleanser
For the past two months, I have been testing out Ageless Derma Anti-Aging Glycolic Facial Gel Cleanser. Ageless Derma is a line of high quality skin care & makeup designed to reduce the signs of ageing and improve your skin. The gel cleanser contains Glycolic acid, Acetyle Acetate and Ubiquinone to remove makeup, pollution and other skin irritants and help fight the signs of prematurely aged skin. I’m always looking for good skin cleansers, so I was very eager to try this out. I don’t really have any fine lines or anything, even though my hair has decided to start going white (I’m only 29!!!!). But I was interested in seeing if I would notice a bit of difference in my overall skin appearance. My skin is really sensitive, so I started out only using a little bit. I noticed right away that my skin was a lot cleaner, but that I did tend to have more breakouts when using the cleanser on a regular basis. Paring it with a regular acne wash and using a clarifier once I was out ...
Product Review — Total Nutrition
Last week, I was sent a sample of Total Nutrition by Immortal Herbs. Total Nutrition is a powder supplement that you can mix into drinks and smoothies. It contains antioxidants, amino acids, enzymes, nutrients, vitamins, and phytonutrients….all of which with give you an energy boots and is very healthy for you. You can use it as a meal replacement for either breakfast or lunch, or have it as a snack/drink between lunch & dinner. The powder itself is green, and can make your drink green as well. It’s not the most appetizing, but you can easily remedy that by mixing different stuff in with it. When I mixed up my smoothie, I used a mango juice base and added in the following frozen fruit: banana slices, pineapple chunks & mixed berries. The mixed berries gave the smoothie a purple color, so I didn’t have to worry about the green. Add in 1 tablespoon of the powder and your good to go. With many nutrition powders, you can sometimes taste them in the drink. But with ...
Citrus Clear Face Wash Review
For the past week or so, I've been trying out Citrus Clear face wash. Citrus Clear products are holistic & all natural, and are safe for all skin types. They carry a variety of products specializing in sensitive skin and acne treatment. I was sent the Natural Tahitian Lime Gentle Cleaner. The cleanser came in a pump bottle, and is clear with little white beads in it. It has a wonderful smell that I really like. I have very sensitive skin & I have trouble with a lot of products...even ones that are formulated for sensitive skin. I've not had any issues with face cleaners that I've reviewed in the past. However, this is the first one that has really broken my skin out. The cleansers did leave my skin feeling very soft and clean. And, as mentioned earlier, I loved the scent. But within a few hours, my skin got very oily. More so than usual. I figured that it may have been the weather, but after a few days, I began having a massive breakout. Most of the pimples ...
Cellulite MD Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A month ago, I was asked to try out Cellulite MD. Cellulite MD is a top seller on CelluliteTreatment.org, and helps break down fatty tissue, stop fluid retention & promote skin health…all of which helps get rid of unwanted cellulite. Years ago I used a cellulite cream from Avon that worked fairly well, but they have long since stopped carrying it. I’ve looked for a long time to find something was both affordable and worked as claimed, but never did have much luck since the majority of high rated brands are over $100 per bottle. When looking up info on Cellulite MD, I found a mix of positive and negative reviews, but I still wanted to try it out to see if it worked. It’s recommended to use it twice a day; once in the morning and once in the evening. I started out using it on my thighs, where I have the most noticeable cellulite. A little bit of the cream seems to go a long way, so I didn’t have to use much of it. I noticed right away that my skin was a lot softer and felt ...
