PlumLife Review and Giveaway [ENDED]

February 16, 2012

A few days ago, I was aksed to check out PlumLife.  PlumLife is an online calander system that allows you to creat scheduals for everyone in your family, even pets.  You can also schedual bills, chores, and just about anything else you can think of. The calendar system is pretty straight forward.  Once you create your account, you are taken through an auto setup to get all your basic info entered in.  You can add in all the members of your family & pets, and assign each one their own color code.  You can then add in other stuff like bills and household stuff.  All of the categories can be edited as needed and it's pretty easy to add stuff to the calendar.  You can also setup email alerts so that everyone can get reminders of what they have coming up. Overall, PlumLife is definitely worth checking out.  The uses are endless and it's extremely useful for anyone or family trying to get schedules organized.  It is also extremely useful for us bloggers as well.  You can schedule ...

Book By You Review & Giveaway [ENDED]

February 12, 2012

I was recently asked to check out Books By You, a site that allows you to created custom book.  You can pick between romanc, mystery, classics and teen stories, then create your own characters to be included.  In essence, you are co-authoring a book. The site has quite a selection of books to choose from, including a large quantity of romance novels.  I ened up picking out a mystery, called Fierce Moon.  A woman finds herself pulled back in time to Victorian England, meets a handsome detective and inadvertently joins him in the search for a killer attacking victims in London.  However, that detective is not all he seems to be... He's a werewolf and could very well be the killer they are after.  Nice!  Right up my alley. Once my book was picked, I got to create all my characters.  I used myself for the heroine, only with a different last name, and used the name Jonathan Quincy for the detective.  Everyone else was just random names and descriptions.  It was also of fun, and the ...

My Memories Review & Giveaway [ENDED]

January 9, 2012

A few weeks back, I was asked to check out the MyMemories software.  MyMemories is a digital scrapbooking software that allows you to create detailed digital scrapbooks.  They are quick to make and less time consuming than making a regular paper scrap book, and you can share them with your friends and family easily. The program is pretty basic and easy to figure out.  You can choose between using a template or creating your own with hundreds of images, assets, and fonts that are included with the software.  You can also download more image/asset packs and templates from the website as well.  Many of the packs are free, but they also have premium packs you can purchase that are very inexpensive.  Plus, add in music and video...something that you can't do with a traditional scrapbook. If you go with the templates, then all you'll have to do for the most part is drop in your images and edit text.  If you go with creating your own, however, you will be creating everything ...

Home Organization Binder 101 Review & Giveaway [ENDED]

January 1, 2012

A few weeks back, Ashley from Sweetpea Lifestyle sent me a copy of her Home Organization Binder 101.  The digital binder contains helpful templates that you can use to help you plan out all of your daily activities. Basically, the binder is 13 image files that you can print out as needed.  They cover everything from grocery lists to cleaning schedules.  There is even a blog planner that covers the entire month, which I have found to most useful for keeping track of my giveaways.  Even if you don't necessarily need all the items covered, you can easily build on it to easily cover your weekly routine.  Unfortunately, even with the planner I'm still a completely disorganized person at best, but it has help me get back on track a bit. The only down side is that it costs $60 . . . which at first I though was a typo on the website.  If you are really needing to get organized, then this would be worth it if you don't mind paying for it.  If your interested in checking it out, you can ...
