It has been a very, very long week. On Monday, I went to see the specialist about my knee. Hannah got car sick on the way there and ended up throwing up just as we were about to pull into the parking lot. We had to hurry and get her all cleaned up and the seat clean before we were late for the appointment. Once we got in and I filled out paperwork, Hannah was fussy so Jason took her out in the hall while I was called back for the appointment. When the assistant/RN guy came in and had me take the brace off, his eyes widened and he asked me how I was even able to walk on it. Not a good sign. Apparently, the MRI place didn't even look at the MRI at all, because the both the RN guy and the doctor said that there was no way that they didn't not see the amount of damage to my knee. Somehow or another, the knee cap itself is going way to the right when I'm walking and it's completely torn out all of the cartilage. He said that it was pretty bad and being that the MRI was taken three ...

Quick potty training question
I'm getting ready to start potty training Hannah and I don't really know what to get her in the way of a potty. Should I get one the chairs that later converts to a stool, or should I get one of the ones that just attach to the toilet? If there really any difference between the two? ...
Another busy week…
The past week has been a bit busy. I haven't been able to get much sleep due to the ongoing issues with my knee. I heard back from my doctor's office about the MRI, which they finally got from the Care United Clinic in Forney...after over two months of waiting. Of course, they told me that there was swelling, which I already knew. So, now I'm going to see an orthopedic surgeon to get his take on it. I’m hoping that it’s something simple and not anything major. We can’t afford too much in the way of medical bills right now. The bill for the MRI came in and I refuse to pay it. They weren’t upfront about the cost and pretty much waited until I was about to go back to tell us what it was. Plus, they refused to send to my doctor, thus waiting the two months to get it from the other place. No…they aren’t getting paid anything and I’ll definitely never do any business with Lake Point again. Jason is home this weekend, so he’s going to get the yard work done. I really need to get my ...
Impromptu Vacation
We took a quick vacation this week to the Villages Resort in Flint, Tx, then spent the next few days trying to get caught up on stuff around the house. I've been working on some reviews and other stuff, so I will begin posting them tomorrow. ...
really behind…
I'm an absoulely horrible blogger! I can't beleive how behind I've gotten on everything this past week or so. Last night was the first night of full sleep that I've gotten in over a week. I ended up having to take a sleeping pill, so I'm still a little groggy. I've been waiting for three weeks now for the United Care clinic in Forney to send my MRI over to my doctor. I've been calling them to try to speak with someone, but they just keep bouncing me around the phone lines. I get the same thing when I try to call the Lake Point Imageing place where I got the MRI. My knee is huring something awful, and if I don't hear from soneone Monday moring I'm going to scream!Anyway, I've got a ton of reviews to write and post. There will be a few giveaways starting as well. I'm going to be working on them throughout the day, but I don't know if they will all be posted today. Our friends are coming in from out of town today and we have a birthday party to go to, so it's going to be a bit ...
the fun never ends…
Tuesday's MRI turned out to be a total waste. The place was not upfront about the cost on the phone, and we didn't find out until after we got there that it was going to cost us close to $1300 out of pocket. I'm in no position to wait another 2 to 3 weeks to get to get in at a different place, so Jason told me not to worry about it and that we would make payments. I then spent 30 minutes with my boobs flattened against the opening of the machine and listening to the absolute worst radio station ever, Jack FM. They played Ace of Base, and then followed it with recoding of people begging them to never play the band again. I was barely able to walk out of the place since they had to force my leg all the way flat. Overall, I wasn't a happy camper. Then, about 2 hours later, the clinic called and told that they didn't see anything wrong with the ligaments, so they don't know what's wrong with it...just that there is fluid. The doctor then called me in a stronger anti-inflammatory, ...
