A few weeks back, I was sent an Ozeri Weightmaster II bath scale from Ozeri. Ozeri makes tons of useful products ranging from kitchen tools to jewelry. I’ve reviewed several Ozeri products in the past, all of which have been excellent. The scale has a digital face and a 30 day memory, displaying not only your current weight, but also how much you have gained or lost since the last time you used it. The display also changes color depending on it weight was gained or lost; green for loss and red for gain. It also has also been treated with Microban to help protect it from accumulating germs. The scale is very sturdy. The face display is clear and very easy to read. I love the memory function and it scrolls through the most recent uses automatically once it reads your weight. It has been very helpful in trying to figure out what diet plan is working best for me. The best part is that it’s designed to auto-recognize up to 8 unique users, so you don’t have to worry about your day to day ...

Product Review – Solid Cordz 6 ft High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet (28 AWG)
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. A few weeks back, I was set a pair of Solid Cordz 6 ft High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet (28 AWG). The HDMI cables are gold plated which give them better signal transfer, and they are double shielded to protect against EMI/RFI. They also support Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master AudioTM standards and are compatible with Xbox & PS3. Now, the Blu-ray cables and all that kind of stuff falls more into my husband’s realm of expertise. We’ve been using some High Speed HDMI cables there were slightly expensive at the time we bought them. They work…I can’t exactly tell you how well aside that the picture comes through good. To test these cables, I used one cable for our entertainment system and gave the other to my parents to use to hook up their Blu-ray player. With our player, I did notice an improvement with the picture & sound quality. The video is definitely crisper than what it was before. With my parents, there ...
Product Review — Ozeri Rev Digital Bathroom Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial
Last week Ozeri sent me one of their Rev Digital Bathroom Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial. Ozeri is a maker of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. They carry a large number of products for kitchens, bathrooms, and more. The face of the scale is a combination of dial and digital, and runs on 3 AAA batteries (included). You’re able to see where you are on the dial and the exact weight is displayed in digital numbers. There is also a built in alarm that reminds you to weight yourself at the same time each day. The base is a pale green tempered glass with a decorative tapered edge. With it being glass, you would think it would break. However, it’s surprisingly sturdy. We all tried it out multiple times. The whole look is very modern and sleek. You would think it’s some sort of decoration at first glance. I really like the digital display, mostly because I can now get an accurate weight measurement on my daughter. I can also get good measurement on ...
Product Review – My Hikes
A few days ago, I received a pair of My Hikes. My Hikes are clips that attach to the bottoms of your child’s pants to keep them rolled up if they are too long or drag the floor. They are available in several designs. I received a pair with butterflies on them (my daughter picked them out). The clips are clear except for the design on the tops, so they aren’t easily noticeable. To use, first fold up the pant cuffs the way you want them. Slide one of the clips on, with the rounded design in front (on top of the pants) and the larger back part underneath the cuff. Then press the round design part down until you hear a click. The clips will stay in place until you take them off. I used them on a pair of my daughters longer jeans, and they stayed on all day without sliding or falling off…and that was with her running around and playing outside. She loves them and has been using them on her stretch pants too. Overall, My Hikes are great, and would make a great stocking stuffer ...
Product Review — The Trellie
For the past two weeks, I’ve been trying out the Trellie. The Trellie is a device that hooks to your phone via Bluetooth and lights up when you have a call. This keeps you from missing calls if your phone is in your purse or somewhere else that you can’t hear it ringing. The Trellie is very easy to use. It takes two AAA batteries and will connect to any Bluetooth enabled phone. To connect it, turn on your Bluetooth and have it search for a new device. Hold the small button down on the front of the Trellie until it starts flashing. It should pop up as ‘Trellie’ on your device. Make sure they are paired, and you are good to go. When the light is flashing fast, a call is coming in. If it’s a slower flash, then you have a missed call. You can press the flashing button to get it to stop. I usually keep my phone in my back pocket depending on what pants or shorts I am wearing. My current purse doesn’t have a phone pocket, so I try not to put it in there if I can help it. I ...
Mighty Handle Review & Giveaway
A few weeks back, I got sent a Mighty Handle to try out. The Might Handle is a handle with hooks that lets you carry multiple shopping bags. It holds up to 50 lbs, and is designed to fit comfortably in your hand. I’ve seen other products like this one before, but they never really looked like they would work due to being very flimsy. The Mighty handle, on the other hand, is thick and sturdy. I was able to easily load it up with many shopping bags without a problem. There is a rubber grip around the handle that makes for a comfortable hold & helps you maintain your grip. The overall design also helps distribute the weight more evenly to that it’s not too much of a strain on your hand. With it, I am able to make fewer trips out to the car to bring groceries in. It also gives me a free hand so that I can quickly open the front door or hold my daughter’s hand. I keep it in a pocket on my storage canvas that’s in the back of my 4Runner. That way, it’s always there when I ...
