When it comes to family, do you go the extra mile to help them when they need you the most? Health matters, but many times families may not realize how much it does indeed matter. Tips for Picking Out Your Prom Dress
This time of year, high school students have a lot going on. Many are planning Spring Break trips, others are preparing for graduation…yet there is one event that all are probably looking forward to: prom. Prom is one of the biggest events of the school year. Many think that getting a date is the hardest detail to iron out before prom, but I know from experience that it’s not. The hardest thing about getting ready for prom is picking out your prom dress. Prom dresses come in several dress types, making it hard to pick out the right one. Prom dress types are very similar to wedding dresses, so you have A-Line/Princess, Empire, Sheath, Mermaid, and Ball Gown. You want to pick the type that will best match your body type. For example, a sheath type dress runs vertically from the shoulders to the floor and does not flare out like the others, making it the best choice for a slim body type since it hugs the body. Once you have that picked out, you can move on to picking out the ...
Guest Article – E-Cigarettes: A Better Solution Around Your Kids
Cigarette addiction is still rampant around the world, despite health concerns that have emerged in the past fifty years. Many parents wish to kick the habit, especially around their children, so as not to pass on the habit. E Cigs have gained in popularity since their invention, and for good reason – they are a great alternative that can provide many of the same effects as traditional cigarettes, without the smell, mess, fire hazard, and expense. Smell Electronic cigarettes have a different odor than traditional cigarettes and won’t cling to your clothes or interrupt the experience of others who are in your presence. They don’t omit the same kind of second-hand smoke or contain the same carcinogens, so smoking them around your children is a better option, especially if you have small children who you carry and who lay their faces close to your hair or clothes. Better smelling clothes also mean fewer loads of laundry – something every mother could benefit from. Find more ...

Get Caught Up on The Walking Dead
There are so many great shows on the air anymore that it’s hard to keep up with them. I have several that I watch and don’t miss an episode of. One of my favorites is returning from its midseason break this weekend: The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead, based off a successful comic of the same name, is a highly acclaimed show on AMC about survivors of the zombie apocalypse & has an all-star cast including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride. While the show is full of zombies (walkers), the primary focus is on the survivors. Let’s do a quick Recap what’s happened so far this season. You can get caught up on previous seasons online with Time Warner Internet. The first half of the season saw many changes within the group. Rick (Lincoln) stepped down as group leader so that he could focus on his son and baby daughter. His son had gotten too desensitized to all the violence and had shot someone in cold blood at the end of the previous season. The group was now ...
