A few days ago, I was invited to try out ScoreBig. ScoreBig is a site that you can get tickets to concerts, attractions, sporting events and more at a discount. You can get tickets one of two ways. You can buy them at the fixed price or you can make an offer to get the tickets at an even lower price.
I’ve browsed ScoreBig once or twice but had never attempted to buy anything. I was very excited because we have wanted to take our daughter to a Rangers game for quite a while now. Now that my husband is back on a regular work schedule, we are able to take her. After browsing the home game listings, I settled on either May 17 or 18. May 17th was my preferred date since it’s an evening game and I figured that it would be cooler. I selected the number of tickets and then the seating area. I placed my offer, filled in my address and billing info, and then submitted it. The great thing about ScoreBig is that they won’t bill you unless you win the offer.
My offer didn’t go through because it was too low, so I was given the option to pay the fixed price within a few minutes. If I let the time expire, I would have to wait 24 hours before I could make an offer on that same seating area. I went ahead and looked over at what was available on the 18th, and ended up making an offer for the same seating area. My offer was accepted. We will be sitting right at the corner by 3rd base (3 Star Seating Area). Once the tickets finalize, I will be sent a link to download them & print them out. There is a possibility that the seats may change, and if that happens ScoreBig will keep you in the same seating area or but you up to a higher rated seating area.
Overall, I absolutely love ScoreBig! I never would have thought that I could afford seats in a 3 Star Seating Area, and I know that it’s going to be a great experience for my daughter. There are thousands of venues to choose from if you are not a baseball fan, so head over to ScoreBig and see what they have available.
