Last week, I was sent a copy of Tell Me A Story by Grace Sandford. Tell Me A Story is a guide to the best stories and books for children. It is broken down into age groups and has in-depth descriptions of the books.
The book is broken into 5 sections depending on age. The ages run from newborn all the way to 15. This is a massive list of books and you can quickly see that a lot of time went into gathering all of the information. Books range from well-known classics, like Peter Pan, to newer books like Harry Potter, and many of them are award winners.
My daughter is 4, and she’s is just started to read on her own a bit. We went through the beginner books and she’s already picked out several that she wants. I also read longer chapter books to her at bed time. After browsing some of the listed chapter books, she wants to read Ella Enchanted next. I also saw several that I’m going to suggest to my teenage sister-in-law as well.
Overall, this is a wonderful resource for parents. It covers newborns to age 15, so you will be able to use it for many years. It’s available on Amazon in Kindle ($4.99) & paperback ($8.95 + shipping) editions.
I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review.
