About three weeks ago, I was invited to try out Signazon.com. Signazon is based in Dallas and lets you design your own custom banners, signs, car magnets & more. You can use customizable templates or use their builder to create your own. I had the option of creating a 2’ x 4’ foot vinyl banner.
Many of you may know that aside from writing this blog, I also do graphic design & photography. I’ve designed several book covers for authors and I also create & sell stock images. I jumped at the chance of doing a banner because I have been pricing them for a while to have at FenCon. FenCon is a sci-fi convention held in Dallas & frequented by a lot of local and national authors. I’m sharing a table with a friend of mine, T. M. Simmons, and wanted to have something to stand out and bring people over.
They have a large number of templates available that you can edit and add in your own images. I choose to go with the blank template. I uploaded my logo then added a few lines of text. I also uploaded three book covers that I designed too. I was able to easily move everything around and resize things as needed. It took me only a few minutes to get done. I then spent a while messing with whether to add my prices on there or not (I spent way too much time debating that). While you’re working, you have the option of saving your work. All you have to do is create a free account & everything you design will be saved.
Once I was done, I emailed my cart number to the rep, so I didn’t go through the entire checkout process. I received my shipping notice three days later, and my banner arrived a few days later via FedEx. It came out looking excellent. The vinyl is sturdy and easily held up to my daughter tugging at it several times. It also came with the grommets already punched in the corners. I want to note that this particular sign is for indoors, so it won’t hold up for outdoor use. You can upgrade your sign to outdoor for $5.98. I plan on hanging the banner off the front of the table.
Overall, Signazon does excellent work. You have a ton of options to work with and their turn around & shipping is fast. My sign was $29.88 (+ shipping). Shipping starts at $11.27 for FedEx Ground. Depending on where you live, you have the option of picking up your items locally from one of the productions facilities for only $5. You can check out all of the products Signazon has to offer by visiting their website.
I received the above mentioned product for free it help facilitate my review.
