Product Review – Cel-Lab Pedometer and Activity Tracker Band

Last week, I was sent a Cel-Lab Pedometer and Activity Tracker Band to test out and review. The tracker is a small device that you charge by hooking to your computer via a USB charger. You can then slip it into the band once charged. It connects to your phone through Bluetooth and will work with Android and Apple devices. The device tracks steps and sleep, and also has an alarm function. I was very interested in trying this out because I have been looking for an inexpensive alternative for my … [Read more...]

Product Review – Bath Bomb Gift Set

Last week, I was asked to try out and review the Bath Bomb Gift Set from TorgugaLife.  The set comes with 6 bath bombs and a bottle of bubble bath soap, and comes is a round box.  Each bath bomb is 4.5 ounces and can be used in foot spas, bathtubs, and jet spas.  The bombs also won’t leave rings around the tub. I don’t take a lot of baths anymore, but I do enjoy using bombs and soaks when I do take them.  The bombs are very big and fizzed for quite a while.  I’m congested so I wasn’t able to … [Read more...]

Product Review – ChiroDoc Coccyx Cushion

A few weeks ago, I was sent a Coccyx cushion from ChiroDoc to try out and review.  The cushion is designed to help reduce back pain.  It’s made from memory foam, and relieves pain by relieving direct stress & pressure from your tailbone. I recently started working a full time desk job and I never realized how uncomfortable sitting for long periods could be.  I never really noticed it at home since I could get up and move around when I needed to.  I decided to try it out at home first … [Read more...]

Product Review – Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer

Last week, I was sent a bottle of Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer from Valentia.  It is a lightweight cream that helps lighten dark spots, restores radiance, and evens skin tone.  It also diminishes fine lines and provides all day hydration.  It comes in a 4oz pump bottle. I have always been very pleased with Valentia products in the past, and this one is no different.  I only had to use a small amount to cover my face & neck.  It has a pleasant smell, though I haven’t been able to … [Read more...]

Product Review – Himalayan Salt Lamp

A few weeks back, I was sent a Himalayan Salt Lamp from Himalayan Salt Shop to test out and review.  Essentially, the lamp is a large chunk of Himalayan salt that is hollowed so that you can place a light bulb in it.  As the salt warms up from the heat of the bulb, it releases negative ions which helps remove pollen, dust, bacteria, and more from the air.  It also offsets any positive ions from electronic equipment as well. I have always wanted one of these since the first time I saw some in … [Read more...]

Product Review – Beauty Lally Makeup Brushes

Last week, I was sent a set of makueup brushes from Beauty Lally to try out and review.  The set contains 9 brushes and the come in a designer case, and are available in two colors; brown or black.  They are designed to feel silky and smooth, and can be used with powder, liquids, and creams.  I received the brown brushes. My makeup regime is pretty simple most of the time.  Most days I usually just use a spot concealer and pencil in my eyebrows.  If I’m going out, I break out the larger kit … [Read more...]

Product Review – Support and Compression Knee Brace

A few days ago, I was sent a support and compression knee brace from Onager Sports.  The brace is adjustable and will fit adults with a leg circumference between 11'' to 21' above the knee.  It’s made of flexible neoprene that is moisture-wicking, has side lateral stabilizer, and won’t slip down your leg. I typically use a compression sleeve for my knee from time to time.  I still get a lot of swelling even though it’s been several years since my surgery.   The bad thing about the sleeves, … [Read more...]

Product Review – Camping Travel Fitness and Gym Towel

Last week, I was asked to try out the Camping Travel Fitness and Gym Towel by j2 Line.  It comes in a set of two: one large towel (27"х51") (70cm x 130cm) good for your whole body and a small one (12"х27") (30cm х 70cm) for your face & hands.  They are designed to absorb large amounts of water and dry fast. I was very interested in trying these out, especially for use at the gym.  When they first arrived, I noticed right away how light both towels felt.  I figured that the larger one … [Read more...]

Product Review – Urban Active Sports Running Belt

Last week, I received a Running Belt from Urban Active Sports for try out and review.  It has multiple pockets for your keys, money, ID, and credit cards.  It also has a pocket with a clear front that allows you to use your cell phone.   It also comes with two free gifts: Urban Runner's Survival Guide Ebook and a set of elastic laces. My mom recently signed over her gym membership over to me and I hadn’t been yet at the time I received the running belt.  I really needed something I could put … [Read more...]

Product Review – Universal Brow Pencil

Last week, I was sent a Universal Brow Pencil from Billion Dollar Brows.  The Universal Brow Pencil has been a top seller for over 10 years.  The pencil is self-sharpening and has a spooly brush on the end.  It has a smooth and natural finish, and easily blends in with your brows. My brows are nearly nonexistent in several spots, and going white in others.  It really bothers me because I think my eyebrows look bad.  I have used eyebrow pencils in the past & powders in the past, but … [Read more...]
