Beauty Review – Magiforet Blackhead Peel Off Mask

July 12, 2017

Last week, I was asked to try out the Magiforet Blackhead Peel Off Mask.  This is a charcoal mask that helps remove blackhead and other dirt from pores.  It also comes with a 5 oz. spray bottle of rose oil to help sooth your skin after peeling off the mask.

Magiforet Blackhead Peel Off MaskHave you see those close-up videos on social media of people pulling stuff out of their skin with the masks?  Well, this is that stuff…or at least like it.  I have been curious to see if this works as well as the videos and pics.  I’m happy to say it does.

I am also unhappy to say that it’s a bit painful.  Seriously, this is the mask equivalent of duct tape. It was not pleasant to remove, but the paint was worth it. There was all sorts of stuff coming up with the mask.  My only concern is that some of it may have been hair.  If that’s case, then I think I will soon be able to challenge my cousin to an epic beard battle. LOL!

To use, first wash your face to remove any oils.  I suggest that you use a hot towel to help open you pores some more.  Once you face is dry, apply a thin layer making sure to keep it away from your eyes, mouth, and hairline.  It may be best to apply it with a silicone spatula (I bought one from MEME Box) to ensure that you get an even layer and to help reduce waste.

Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes, then you are ready to remove it. Find a leather strap to bite down on…  Just kidding. (or am I?) I started at my chin and worked my way up.  You are supposed to go slow, but it was kind of painful in a few spots for me. So I treated it like a band aid.  Once it was removed, wiped my face down and then sprayed the rose oil.  It did help a lot.

Overall, it does work.  You can see what came up from my pores in the picture.  It is a little painful, but that is to be expected. The mask is available on Amazon for $10.99 (+shipping).

I received the above mentioned at a discount for a review. All opinions are 100% my own.
