Product Review – Delta Kite with Tail

June 25, 2015

20150614_133721 Two weeks back, I was sent a large Delta Kite with Tail from Get Childish to try out and review. The kite is 180 x 90 cm and made of nylon & resin.

The kite was a lot bigger that I first thought it would be. It arrived in a long box & my husband thought that I had ordered a fishing rod or something. The kite comes folded up in a carrying bag with the main poles already in place. All you need to do to assemble it is to put the cross pole in place and attach the string. When fully assembled, it was easily as wide as my couch and nearly as tall as my daughter.

We had a hard time being able to take it out to fly it. It had been storming almost every day. We finally had a clear day and were able to get it in the air for about two minutes before a massive storm moved it. It flew beautifully & drew a lot of people’s attention at the local park. We were a little leery of letting my daughter fly it by herself since she’s still little, but she had a blast watching it fly. We can’t wait to take it out to the beach next month.

Overall, the kite is perfect. It’s well made with will last a long time. It’s available on Amazon for $21.47 (it was out of stock at the time of writing this review). You can find out what new products are available from Get Childish by following their Facebook page.

I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
