Product Review – Copper Fit Compression Sleeve

January 14, 2015

A few weeks ago, I was sent a Copper Fit Compression Sleeve to test out and review. copperfit It’s made with lightweight antimicrobial performance fabric infused with the highest quality copper, and provides comfortable compression for support and extended wear. It helps improve circulation, prevents strain and speeds healing.

I’ve heard a lot over the years about copper having healing/health properties, and this is the first time I’ve tried a product with copper in it. I opted for the knee sleeve since I’m always looking for something to help with the fluid buildup & lingering pain in my right knee (which has occurred daily to some extent since I had the knee surgery a few years back).

The first think I noticed right away was that the upper band was very tight on my thigh. I even went back and re-measured to make sure that I got the right size, a Large (17 1/2″-19″), which I did. I was able to wear it for a little bit, but had to take it off 15 to 20 minutes later after my leg started hurting due to the tightness. I didn’t really notice a difference while wearing it, and I wore it several times (until it got too uncomfortable). I will note that the fabric was very breathable and light. I wouldn’t mind wearing it all the time if it wasn’t so tight.

Overall, I’m a little mixed on this one. It is a good compression sleeve, but I don’t really know if that’s due to the copper or not. I would definitely suggest a size up since it does seem to run a little small. It’s available online for $9.99 (+ shipping).

I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review.  My opinion is 100% my own.
