Product Review – Harvest Snaps

October 6, 2014

A few weeks ago, I was sent several bags of Harvest Snaps to try out and review. Harvest Snaps are flavored snapea crisps and lentil snaps. They are baked, high in fiber, and gluten free. There are a variety of flavors in both types. For the snapeas, there is Lightly Salted, Ceaser, Black Pepper, and Wasabi Ranch. For the lentils, there are Tomato Basil & Onion Thyme. I got to try them all.

The snaps are a bit different than I expected. You would think that they are deep-fried or something when you first open the bag. They are…puffy, for lack of a better word. The first flavor I tried was the lightly salted. I wasn’t overly crazy for it, but my daughter loved them. In fact, she liked all the flavors. I think our favorite flavor was the Wasabi Ranch since we like spicy stuff.

I’ve been mostly giving them to my daughter for snacks since she likes them so much. I also eat some so that I’m making sure to get some extra fiber. They are definitely something I will keep in mind for lunches when she starts school next year.

Overall, Harvest Snaps aren’t bad. I think that they may be a bit of an acquired taste, but I do really like the Wasabi Ranch flavor. They are available at a wide range of stores, including Walmart, Whole Foods and Target. You can get more info by visiting the Harvest Snaps website.  You can also check out Lunchspiration, where you can win a Harvest Snap coupon.

This post was created in partnership with Harvest Snaps. I have been compensated for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

These look good, I’m starting to make my own vegetable chips so I will look around for these.
