A few weeks ago, I was sent a copy of The Mommy MD Guide to Losing Weight and Feeling Great. The book has over 700 tips from doctors, who are also mothers, on how to lose weight, fight fatigue, boost their mood, and more.
The book is broken into several chapters & has two parts. The first part covers losing weight. There are tips for staying motivated what to drink and eat, and what to consider when looking at weight loss programs. There are also over 25 healthy recipes as well. The second part covers feeling great. There are tips on mood boosting and how to assess your self-esteem, and more recipes that focus on boosting energy. There is also a whole chapter about updating your look and looking your best to help your overall attitude toward yourself.
My favorite parts are the recipes. The Busy Morning Oatmeal is really good, and somewhat similar to what I already make, minus the almonds. Several of the other recipes also look good too, like the Ginger-Soy Glazed Salmon. I personally find it easiest to lose weight by adjusting my diet, so these recipes give me a great starting point.
Overall, the book is a great resource for any mom to use to reach their weight loss goals and stay healthy. There are a wealth of tips and recipes to get you going. The book is $9.99 (+ shipping) on Amazon, and is also available on the Mommy MD website as well. They also have several books available as well. You can get more info on the Mommy MD site.
I received the above mentioned product for free to help facilitate my review.
