Book Review – Healthy Eating for Kids Recipe Book

November 24, 2011

Last week, I was sent a copy of the Healthy Eating for Kids recipe book.  The book contains 60 recipes that are quick to make and healthy for your kids to eat.  There are a large variety of snacks, meals and drinks to choose from, all of which are small portions and contain various nutrients that are normally hard to fit into your child’s diet.

All of the recipes are very simple to make, and most only take a few minutes to make.  They are also easy enough that children can help prepare them as well.  There are a few recipes that will require you to go out of your way to find some ingredients, but, for the most part, you will probably have the ingredients for the simpler recipes either on hand or easily found at the grocery store.  There are several snacks that sound very good, and I’m looking forward to making.  However, there are several the really don’t look all the appetizing to me.

Overall, the recipe book isn’t too bad.  It’s worth checking out if your interested in making something a little different for your kids.  You can find out more about the recipes at the Healthy Eating for Kids website, or purchase the Kindle version at Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
