Product Review – Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Rug Doctor. I received a product sample to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own. A few days ago I was sent a Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner to try out. The spot cleaner features a compact design that will sit on stairs & store easily. It has two times the suction power of other portable spot cleaners & it’s also the only one to have a motorized handheld brush. We get lots of stains on our carpet, many of which are caused by my daughter spilling things on the floor what she is playing. It’s a pain to drag out the full sized carpet cleaner all the time and scrubbing them by hand usually doesn’t do much. We hoped that the spot cleaner would be able to easily take care of the stains…both the new and old ones. First of all, the unit comes completely assembled in the box. All I had to do was pull it out of the box and plug it in. It has two handles: a small carry handle and a pull out ...

Product Review – Koolertron RGB Color Changing LED Light Kit
Two weeks ago, I was sent Koolertron RGB Color Changing Kit. It’s a 16 ½ foot flexible strip of LED lights that can change colors. The strip is self-adhesive, allowing it to be put almost anywhere, and it can be easily be trimmed to the length you require. It comes with a remote control, controller & power supply. We initially wanted to put them up under our carport, which we use as a patio area when it’s nice outside, but opted instead to fix it to the valance in our living room. To put them up, all you have to do is peel the paper backing off and stick it where you want it. There are marked section about every inch or so where you can safely cut the string to trim it to size. We had a little bit getting the adhesive to stick. A lot of heat comes through our windows, making the valance fairly warm during the day. Some sections of the string started drooping a little while after we put them up. I easily fixed it by using double sided adhesive squares. Once the string is up, ...
