At the dawn of Camelot, one young girl is about to take her place beside the greatest king in England's history. She is a mere child of twelve. But in these medieval days, this is the age when childish things must be put away and greater responsibilities accepted--all in preparation for a betrothal of marriage. For young Lady Guinevere, on the advent of her thirteenth Birth Day, the whole idea is quite unbearable. After all, what could be better than spending her youth playing with her best friend Cedwyn, roaming the grounds around the castle looking for mythical creatures or hunting rabbits? However, the wizard Merlyn--her teacher and friend--knows that destiny has a way of catching up with a person. His arrival sets in motion a series of events that will lead Guinevere to her destiny whether she is ready for it or not. ** Finalist Pre-Teen Literature: Dan Poynter's 2011 Global Ebook Awards ** Amazon (U.S. Print) * Amazon (UK) * Amazon (CA) * Amazon (FR) Amazon (IT) * ...
Product Review – Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream
A few weeks back, I was sent a 4oz tub of Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream to test out and review. It contains organic cocoa butter and shea butter, alongside lots of pure plant oils and vitamins, to work reduce stretch marks & scars. It’s organic and free from harsh chemicals. I’m always looking to try out different creams for stretch marks, so I was interested in trying this one. It’s a thick, creamy lotion with a pleasant smell. I used it one only one of my thighs to try to compare if there was any fading. I used it about once every other day for a few weeks. The effects are subtle, but there. While you can still somewhat see the marks, they are a lot lighter and the skin is softer. I think that over prolonged use, the marks would definitely be faded enough to where you don’t see them anymore. Overall, it does work very well on stretch marks. I have an only surgery scar on my right arm that I’ve had since middle school that never really healed. I will ...

Movie Review – Dolphin Tale 2
Last week, Warner Bros. sent me a Blu-Ray copy of Dolphin Tale 2 to watch and review. Dolphin Tale 2 is based on true story of Winter, a dolphin who lost her tail and uses a specially designed prosthetic tail to swim. The movie picks up three years after the first movie ends. Winter’s surrogate mom passes away, leaving Winter’s future at the Clearwater Marine Hospital in jeopardy. If they cannot find another dolphin to pair with Winter, she will be removed and sent to a facility in Texas. When time is about to run out, a juvenile dolphin arrives. Will the dolphin, named “Hope”, accept Winter as her surrogate mother? We enjoyed this one every bit as much as the first movie. The overall theme for this movie was that change can be a good thing. Sawyer is approached by Boston University and invited to go on a SEA Semester program for three months. He is torn about going since he doesn’t want to leave Winter, especially with the possibility of her being moved. Hazel wants to be included ...
Movie Reivew – Dolphin Tale
Last week, Warner Bros. sent me a Blu-Ray copy Dolphin Tale to watch and review. The movie follows the true story of Winter, a dolphin rescued off the coast of Florida who ends up having to have her tail amputated. As she heals at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, which is in the process of possibly being sold/shutdown, she learns how to swim with a side-to-side motion. However, it begins to cause damage to her spine since it’s an unnatural movement for a dolphin. Sawyer, the boy her found her and has been helping take care of her, gets the idea of creating a prosthetic tail after visiting his cousin at the VA Hospital. With the help of Dr. Cameron McCarthy, they develop a tale, but Winter rejects it…smashing it in the process. Will they be able to come up with a tale that Winter can wear and save the aquarium? The movie came out a few years ago, and I had never seen it until now. It was very good and my daughter absolutely loved it. There are a lot of funny moments, and Winter’s ...
