On Friday, Hannah started standing up on her own. I'm so happy!!! It's only a matter of time before she starts walking. ...
baby vs. bird: round 1
Hannah is feeling a lot better today. However, she doesn't want to leave her room now. I'm 'bird sitting' my parents cockatiel Paco while they are on vacation this week...and just like the last time, the two of them are not getting along.Hannah was in her playpen out in the living room earlier this morning. Paco left her alone for a little bit, but then started tweeting at her and saying "Come here! Come here!" Hannah ignored him for a bit but eventually she crawled over by the cage and sat there glaring & snorting at him. She then stood up entirely on her own and attempted to lob her teeting ring at him. Her hand bounced off the mesh, causing her to loose her balance and fall. This went on for about 45 minutes until she had enough and started crying. She's in taking a nap now, so that should keep everything quiet for a bit. I'm going to try to get some video of the two of them later. It's absolutely hilarious to watch. ...
doctor visit
We just got back from the doctor's office. Hannah doesn't have an ear infection or a bladder infection. The doctor thinks that it's just a viral infection. She said to keep an eye on her and if she gets worse then call. We just need to keep giving her the Tylenol and also some pedialyte if needed. Hannah drank almost a full bottle in the office and she perked up a bit. She's sleeping right now so I guess we'll wait and see how she does. ...
high fever…
Hannah woke up with a slight fever this morning. It was a little over 100, and I gave her some tylenol. I fugured that it was another of her teething fevers, but no I'm not so sure. I took her temp a little while ago and it was 102.3 give or take...I have a hard time getting her temp. I called her doctor and they said to bring her in so they could give her a check-up. I could very well be teething, but they just want to be on the safe side.Jason is seeing if he can leave work so he can take us. They should let him go. The only time he's ever left work early for an emergency is when I had my car accident back in '07. The apointment is for 4:15, and I'll have to head out earlier than I normally would since school will be out and the roads busy. ...

the crib kit arrived….
It's been nearly a month since I put in for the repar kit for my Delta crib. It's a big red plastic thing that hold the rail in place, yet the 'big red thing' is not attached to anyting. Hmmm...I think I'll take my chances. I'll take a picture of it later.Delta also sent a form for a 10% rebate...if you have both the UPC code from the box and a copy of the receipt. Being that the box is long gone and I don't know if my parents still have the receipt or not, the rebate is totally useless. And 10% of $170 is a whopping $17. I have a feeling that many people will be mad about this. ...
