Guest Article – Accepting the Struggles of Motherhood

July 29, 2011

Although being a mother is one of the greatest and most fulfilling gifts I have received, I have come to realize that there are going to be many struggles ahead. These struggles that I talk about range from providing my children with the best possible education to dealing with the growing pains of life. Whether you have one child or eight children, being a mother is a completely different responsibility than ever before. Now, you put your children before yourself. Many people who don’t have children aren’t able to comprehend that you think and live differently since you have more that just yourself to worry about. I first took it out of the box, she wasn't really all the interested in it at first.  She ran around with the box for a bit before she really took interest in the maze.  Once she started playing with it, she had a blast with it.  The ...

too hot to do much of anything…

July 26, 2011

It was way to hot to do much of anything today.  The temp reached a high of 105 today...but my weather display said that the 'real feel' temp was 120!  I can't wait till that heat dome breaks up.  This is ridiculous.  ...
