UPrinting Die-cut Business Cards Review and Giveaway [ENDED]

November 4, 2011

UPrinting.com offers various printing solutions that are very affordable.  I was recently invited to try out their die-cut business cards.  You can pick from a variety of cut shapes and paper types.  There is a 6 business day turnaround time and free shipping in the US only. I found the process of creating the cards to be fun.  I will warn you that they do not have templates like other sites do.  You need to have a fairly good idea of what you want ahead of time before you start.  I decided that I would make cards for my photography and design site, GO Studios.  They had a large assortment of stock images, should you need them, starting at $1 each.  I ended up making a quick logo on my computer and uploading it to the design app.  From there, I started typing in my information . . . which only took a few minutes.  Once I had everything the way I wanted, I submitted the card and proceded to checkout. About 2 days later, UPrinting.com called to verify the order and to tell me that ...

Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale Review & Giveaway [ENDED]

November 4, 2011

I was recently asked to try out the Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale by EatSmart.  The scale features four measurement modes, a tare feature,  a 3 minute auto-turnoff, and compact design.  It also comes in several color choices. I was extremely excited the get the scale.  I have a small scale that I use from time to time, but it only goes up to 4 lbs.  This one goes up to 11, plus has all the different measurement modes.  I weighted out several items, the the scale was spot on.  I also love the size if it.  I can easily put it in on of the small drawer of my hutch and it hardly takes up any room. Overall, this is an excellent product.  I know I will get a lot of use out if it.  The scale sells for $34.95 and comes with a 2 year warranty.  If you have any issues with it at all, EatSmart is more than happy to help you out.  You also get a booklet, Calorie Factors Book, that helps you determine portion size and count calories.  You can purchase the scale at the EatSmart website ...

Layout Update

November 3, 2011

I took down the Halloween layout, and have changed up the old one a bit.  I'm going to make a new banner later on when I have a chance.  I'm not too sold on the background at the moment...so I'll look around to see if something else catches my eye. ...
