There are many ways to get your kids excited about Santa, and one of the best ways is with TheSantaVideo.com. The site allows you to quickly upload your own photo, then seamlessly add in Santa delivering presents. It takes only a few minutes, and then you can share your video with your friends and family. The overall process is very quick and I did it totally on the fly. Unproductive few days
I haven't got much done the last few days. I've had no energy to speak of and haven't felt like doing much of anything. I don't know if my lack of sleep is catching up with me or not. Jason is off today, but is trying to do a marathon cleaning of the shed. His parents brought over a Barbie Jeep Power Wheel for Hannah, who is no where near old enough to use it yet. They also got her a table and chair set, which, again, is too big for her. I think we're going to store the table and chairs in the office, and put the Jeep in the shed once there is room. We are also trying to consolidate tote boxes down so that we can get some of her older toys out there. Plus, we've still got her infant car seat, which we are reluctant to get rid of in case we decide to have another baby, and several other larger items to take out as well.Anyway, the UGLee Pen giveaway is over, and I'll be notifying the winner in a little bit. I've also got another Christmas giveaway to post, and some product ...
Kimberly Michelle’s "Make It Youself" Gift Exchange
I participated in Kimberly Michelle's 'Make It Yourself" Gift Exchange this year. I always love making homemade crafts for Christmas, so I jumped at the chance to participate in this. The exchange was run through Elfster, which is a pretty neat site. Anyway, here is the gift I made:I picked a few unfinshed ornaments at Hobby Lobby, all of which were under $1 each (I love their 50-75% off Christmas sale). I already had most of the paints since I try to make a few of these each year, but I needed the browns and also grabbed the Christmas red and green. It took about three coats of paint in each color to get the ornament covered without any white bleedthrough. Once the paint was dry, I sprayed the front and back with Krylon UV-Resistan Clear Matte Acrylic Coating to seal it. Overall, I'm really happy with how well it came out, considering how messed up my hand has been. Some of the black lines are a little shakey . . . but I'm not too worried about it. I mailed this one out a few ...
