Book Review – The Unfinished by Patrice Williams-Marks
The Unfinished is a short story ebook by Patrice Williams-Marks. Set in the future, that story is about an Unfinished (murdered) who is brought back to put his killer behind bars…he believes. The overall style of the story is 40s detective noir, and it works exceptionally well. The story is short and to the point, and you really get a feel for the man as he remembers his life. He’s very sympathetic, which makes the ending all the more shocking with its brilliantly laid out twist.Overall, it was a fantastic read and I highly recommend it. It would definetly make a great Christms present for any avaid reader.
