I love hotdogs. They aren't the healthiest things around, but they are so good with ketchup, mustard, and relish…and sometimes sauerkraut. Plus, they are the stable food of baseball parks everywhere. And where there are hotdogs, there are hotdog eating contests. What’s better than watching people consume mass quantities of the ever-popular tubular meat, and run the risk of throwing up? Okay, I admit, it’s not for everyone. But it’s one of my favorite things to watch on 4th of July. It also helps that Takeru Kobayashi is totally hot and I hope that he gets to compete this year. You have to respect the men and women who compete since most of them can easily knock back 50 to 60 hotdogs, bus too, in less than 10 minutes and not fall into a food coma or have an instant heart attack. Product Review – 20 Mule Team Borax
A while back, I was sent a box of 20 Mule Team Borax from Purex Insiders. Borax has been around for a long time, and is a 100% natural mineral used for cleaning. It softens hard water, boosts your regular detergent, & can be used for a number of cleaning uses around the house. You can also use it in a number of crafts as well. My grandmother used Borax and swore by it. I had never used it before aside from a few school projects, so I was eager to try it out. The box arrived while I was on vacation & was waiting for me when I got home. I immediately used it in my husband’s laundry. His socks can walk themselves home at the end of the day, and they never really get clean. So, I added ½ cup of Borax in with the load. Not only did they come out completely clean, they also didn’t smell anymore. After that, I started adding it to everything. It’s really great for the towels since it gets the mildew smell out of them. I’ve also noticed that the washing machine is also a ...

Product Review – Natur’el Tea
A few weeks ago, I was sent some samples of Natur’el Tea. Natur’el Tea has a large variety loose leaf tea to choose from. All the teas are imported and mixed at their stores, which is based out of Canada. I got to pick out five flavors to try.I love loose leaf tea and was very excited to try them out. The tea was organized by type, and each type has a ton of varieties. Most of the varieties are available year round, but a few aren't. After browsing around the site for quite some time, I pick out the following teas: Daily Detox, Creamy Earl Grey, Cinnamon Plum, Houjicha, and Stress Relieving. The Daily Detox and Stress Relieving were my favorites by far. The stress reliving tea wasn’t too strong or too weak, while the detox was sweet with a hint of spice. Houjicha is a green tea that is usually found at retreats at Lake Motosuko in the Japanese Alps. I picked this one out for my husband because he loves green tea. It was very strong and he loved it. The Creamy Earl Grey was ...
Back from Vacation!
I had a wonderful week in Rockport! I finally got a chance to relax and get some fishing in, plus Hannah and I got to spend some time with my parents. I wish my husband had been able to go, but he wasn't able to get off of work. In face, he worked a crazy scheduled with no days off. I hope that he will be off at some point this week. By the time he gets home at night, Hannah is already in bed so she doesn't get to see him.I took my laptop with me in hopes that I would be able to get some product reviews done. I got a few partially written, but the internet connection was so bad that I could barely update anything. I was surprised that I was able to get the iPad post up. I got so frustrated with it that I gave up trying to get anything done and mostly left the laptop alone. I really needed to go through more video from the Beckham ghost investigation, but my sinuses are still so bad that my ears are clogged up...going on three weeks now. I couldn't hear a thing even with ...
