The Life Moments Shopping Planner for New Moms

March 9, 2014

Let's face it, babies are cute and adorable...but also very expensive.  Between buying the big items (like a crib, car seat and stroller) and all the other little stuff (bottles, clothes, pacifies, ect...), you end up spending a lot of money.  And that's just the start.  I was spending over $28 a week just for formula! In order to help you out, ShopperIncite has started the Life Moments Shopping Planner.  The planner is a quarterly mailing and has coupons for all sorts of items that are useful for new moms.  It also has several pages that help you pan out your meals and shopping list for 9 weeks.  I received one of the planners and there are all sorts of coupons.  There are $1 off coupons for Gerber products & discount codes for sites like Zulily.  It is definitely worth checking out. You can sign up to start receiving your FREE planner.  The next one goes out i April.   This is a sponsored post. ...

Keep Your Family Heart Healthy with Campbell’s

March 9, 2014

My husband & I are both allergic to many antibiotics.  We also have the added concern of several hereditary diseases that run on both sides of our families…including heart disease.  Because of this, we make sure to eat as healthy as possible in order to keep ourselves healthy & to teach our daughter to eat right as well.  We try to aim toward a low carb diet.  That way, we are getting all the food groups in manageable portions.  We have cut out all soda and don’t eat a lot of sugary stuff.  For snacks we get stuff like carrots, salads & various fruits. March 3, 2014

I am super happy at getting over 550 entries for the Bright Washes Bright Wishes Giveaway!  That's the most entries I've gotten to date for a giveaway.  I'll be picking the winners and emailing them this eveing...probably after my daughter goes to bed.  There are two other giveaways going right now: The iParent.tv Giveaway & The Vitamin Boost Giveaway.  There should be some more giveaways starting soon, so keep and eye out. I'm also looking for some movie suggestions for a Family Movie Night giveaway.  I don't have a huge budget but I figured I could get a few older movies and a new release, as well as a box of microwave popcorn.  What movies would you like to see? ...

Product Review — Beltlock

February 28, 2014

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. A while back, I was sent a Beltlock to try out.  The Beltrock is designed to keep kids from undoing their seatbelt when riding in the car.  It fits over the locking part of the seatbelt to protect the release button.  The slots allow for the belt part (I know that there is some technical name to it but I don’t know it) to go into the lock, but little fingers won’t fit.  To release, simply use a key or other long/slim object to press the release. My daughter has been pretty good about not undoing her seatbelt while we are driving.  However, once we stop someplace she’s out of her seat and waiting for the door to open.  I know that it’s only a matter of time before she does undo it while driving, so I figure it never hurts to be prepared. The Beltlock itself is oversized so that it can fit over any make of seatbelt.  You simply set it on top of the locking part, and then inset the belt part into one of the slats to hold ...
