Product Review – Garcinia Cambogia HCA from Healthy Bastards
A few months back, I was sent two bottles of Garcinia Cambogia HCA from Healthy Bastards. Healthy Bastards is a healthy living company that provides assorted weight loss products that are GMO-free, Vegan, and contain no fillers or binders. Garcinia Cambogia HCA is their most popular product and is a natural fat burner. I’m always looking for different products to try to help get of both fluid and extra weight, so I thought this might be something good to try. However, I ended up with very mixed results. When I first started taking it, I followed the dosage on the bottle. I didn’t notice much of a difference at first, but after a few days I saw a very slight decrease in my weight. This kept up for two or so weeks, but then I started having random stomach cramps and slight nausea. I ignored it & didn’t think much of it. The following day, after eating lunch, I suddenly got very shaky and dizzy. Within a few minutes, I was throwing up. I wrote it off as some bad food, but the ...
Guest Article – Six Money Saving Ideas for New Parents
Although a new addition to the family brings absolute joy, it also brings an onset of new expenses. Now that you have diapers and formula to pay for, some of the other luxuries you allowed yourself are too expensive for the budget. And even though you feel as though you have cut back everywhere you can, the expenses continue to pile up. Here are six money strategies that can help to reduce the financial strain: 1. Look to reduce energy costs by finding a less expensive power provider. Look to a new company that can provide you with a less expensive bill yet still manages to cover your entire home and business electricity needs. Be quick to turn off all lights, appliances, or fans that are not being used, as that can save you hundreds on your electric bill each year. Likewise, since a ...
Book Review – Night Chill by Jeff Gunhus
Night Chill is the first adult novel by Jeff Gunhus. He has previously written the young adult series The Templar Chronicles. Jack Tremont moves this family to Western Maryland in an attempt to restart his life after a terrible accident. However, he finds his family caught in a nightmare when a man targets his youngest daughter in hopes to strengthen an ancient, dark power. As Jack digs deeper into the past of the town, he discovers a dark secret that reaches farther than he could ever imagine. Unable to trust anyone, how far will he go to save his daughter? Unlike his previous novels, this one is definitely not for kids. It is very dark, and focuses on a group of people doing sacrificial rituals in order to gain immortality. It was fast paced and very well written. The supernatural, mystery and horror all meshing into a very thrilling book and I wasn’t able to put down. The character development is exceptional and the plot never loses steam. You can’t help but feel for Jack while ...
