Hannah’s first round of shots!
Hannah had her first round of shots earlier this morning. She did a lot better than I expected, however she was extremely fussy/grumpy before she ever got there because Sandy (my mother-in-law) barged over and harassed her to the point of tears. She gets her digital camera about an inch away from Hannah's face and starts taking pictures...with the flash on. And she wonders why Hannah cries when she's over.Anyway, the doctor said that Hannah is healthy and growing good. We just need to start adding extra formula power to her bottle because she isn't gaining a lot of weight due to the soy formula. We'll take her back in 2 weeks and she if she's gained any. If not, we will have to change her formula to something with more calories. ...
more trouble with the kids next door
I ended up going over to the neighbors again yesterday. This time the brats were throwing school supplies and water balloons at the dog, as well as throwing large sticks at Hannah's window. Their mom called them inside and tried to get them to explain to me what their problem is. They wouldn't speak at all and both of them had psychotic looks on their faces. And, come to find out, they are both 14. 14 YEARS OLD and standing outside peeing on their house everyday! They got pissed off because I started making fun of them. They are supposed to come over and give us a decent apology...but I doubt that will happen. As far as I'm concerned, yesterday was that last day I'm going over there. Next time I'm just going to call the cops. The weasel abides. ...
trouble with the brats next door
I ended up having to go over next door and talk with the mother of the bratty kids next door. They were throwing sticks at my dog, Tobi, again. They were getting him to come up to the fence and once he would start to bark at them they would throw stuff at him and yell. My mom was watching them through he window and they saw her but kept it up. I ended up going out there and yelling at them, and they stopped for a bit then started back up again. They were also throwing stuff at my car as well.I hate going over to talk to the mom because she's a bit flaky...and sort of crazy. But it's really bad when you have to tell your neighbor that besides throwing stuff, her kids are peeing on the side of their house. She was absolutely mortified, but then again it's her fault they carry on that way. She doesn't parent them at all; they run around like a couple of wild animals. I don't want Hannah to look out her window once she starts toddling and seeing them doing that kind of stuff. ...
slow, quiet day
It's been pretty quiet today. Hannah slept through the night and has been in a fairly good mood today, although she was not thrilled with the bath she got. It's like she transforms into Stewie from Family Guy the minute she touches the water. She gives me all these 'go to hell' looks. I almost expect her to call me vile woman. ...
Hannah learned a new trick
My mom spent the night last night to make sure I slept. That put my husband out because he wanted to have sex I wouldn't since my mom was in the next room. I could just picture her barging in the room asking "What wrong?!?!" and "Are you alright?!?!" if she heard some sounds. So also spent the day to make sure I didn't have any reactions to the steroids since Jason was at work. She was feeding Hannah her afternoon bottle when Hannah started giving her the finger. Needless to say, mom was not amused. I thought is was funny and eventualy mom was laughting too. She said the Hannah was telling her 'she's #1'.Mom is supposed to be back tomorrow, so I'm going to see if it happens again so I can get a picture of it. ...
