Desk Pad

Product Review – Desk Pad from Piboshi

February 13, 2021

Last week, I was asked to check out a leather desk pad from Piboshi. Measuring 33 inches by 13 inches, the pad goes under your laptop, keyboard or other devices to protect your desk from getting scratches. Its reversible, with both sides being anti-skid, and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Like many, I’ve had to make the switch from commuting to the office 5 days a week to working remotely from home due to COVID. It’s been quite the change, though has saved me a ton in gas. The biggest victim in all of this is my poor kitchen table which has really taken a beating. My work laptop itself doesn’t leave scratches, but the cooling stand that it’s on does. I thought this mat might be the perfect to keep from gouging the table any worse. The mat arrived rolled up with a reusable band. It rolled out almost perfectly flat on the first go and didn’t need long to fully settle out, just a few minutes. It completely protects the top of my table. I can slide the laptop around now as ...

ProjeX Game

ProjeX Review and Giveaway

June 4, 2020

Last week, I was sent a ProjeX game to try out with my family and review. ProjeX is a portable projector that displays arcade-quality shooting targets of varying difficulty levels. This system operates on just two AA batteries and does not require a tv. Each projector comes with two blasters (which don’t need batteries) and three slides. The slides are color-coded for difficulty level: blue is easy & shows targets; red is medium & shows UFO; white is hard & shows ducks. Out of the box, all the system needs are batteries. The projector should be placed on a low table about 5 feet away from the wall. Turn off the lights, and you are good to go. It took us a few minutes to get it to turn on, and once it did the entire base lit up. There is a small front display that keeps score and the blasters can be placed in built-in holders for storage. We started out with the blue slide and slowly worked our way up. Each slide has 5 different games, so there are a lot of variations ...

The new GoPro HERO+LCD has arrived at Best Buy, the go-to destination for the latest cameras and camcorders. And just in time for Father’s Day too! The HERO+LCD lets you capture incredible moments, and the LCD display lets you relive them on the spot. Spec wise, it’s awesome. It has 1080p60 video, 8MP photos and built-in Wi-Fi, plus the convenience of a touch display. With built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, you can connect to the GoPro App for shot preview, total camera control and easy content sharing to Instagram, Facebook, and more. It’s the ultimate camera for shooting sports events, fishing trips, water sports, and more. It’s the perfect Father’s Day gift for any dad, even the really picky ones. I’d love to get one for my husband. It’d be perfect to take on vacation to the beach with us. We would be able to quickly share shots from snorkeling ...
