the crib kit arrived….
It's been nearly a month since I put in for the repar kit for my Delta crib. It's a big red plastic thing that hold the rail in place, yet the 'big red thing' is not attached to anyting. Hmmm...I think I'll take my chances. I'll take a picture of it later.Delta also sent a form for a 10% rebate...if you have both the UPC code from the box and a copy of the receipt. Being that the box is long gone and I don't know if my parents still have the receipt or not, the rebate is totally useless. And 10% of $170 is a whopping $17. I have a feeling that many people will be mad about this. ...
Delta Crib Recall status
Delta did a recall on all of their drop-side cribs last month. I have one, but didn't know that they were recalled until about a week ago. I've only had one problem with my crib: for some reason, people (mostly my mother-in-law) feel that they have to violently shake the side to get it down, which makes the side catch fall out of place in the slider...which I then have to entirely take apart to get everything working right again. So, on the 29th when I saw that the cribs had been recalled, I went ahead and ordered the replacement parts to make it immobile. The Delta site said it wasn't necessary to use them if your crib was working, but the CPSC, however, said to stop using the crib immediately. After filling out the info, it said that it would take 2 to 4 weeks and that I would receive an email when it's shipped. 2 to 4 weeks?!?!?!?!?! That's absolutely ridicules! You'd think that they would get it out way faster than that.Today it's been five days...so we'll see how long it ...

The Nap Nanny was being used in a crib, and infant was found hanging in the harness between the product and the bumper. "CPSC and Baby Matters are aware of one other incident in which an infant became entrapped when the Nap Nanny® was used in a crib, contrary to the product instructions. In that incident, the infant fell over the side of the Nap Nanny®, despite being harnessed in, and was caught between the baby recliner and the side of the crib. The infant sustained a cut to the forehead.CPSC and the firm have received 22 reports of infants, primarily younger than 5-months-old, hanging or falling out over the side of the Nap Nanny® despite most of the infants being placed in the harness. One infant received a bruise as a result of hanging over the side of the product.Infants can partially fall or hang over the side of the Nap Nanny® even while the harness is in use. This situation can be worse if ...
Recall — Various Tylenol, Motrin, & Benadryl Products
There has been another major recall of McNeil products due to a 'musty smell' that is being blames on the pallets they were stored on. If you have one of the recalled lots, you are to stop using them immediately. McNeil is also encouraging everyone to contact them 'for instructions on a refund or replacement'. I did that during the Children's Tylenol recall and have yet to get any response back...so it's up to you whether you want to try or not.For a complete list of everything that has been recalled on January 15, June 15, and July 8, follow this like: http://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/page.jhtml?id=/include/prd_all.inc I suggest that you look at this one, being that it list Rolaids as well as almost every Tylenol made. That and I never heard anything about there being a June 15 recall. ...
