Applied Labels are nifty little name labels that will litteraly go on anything. You can get any name printed on them, along with the option of an icon. To place one on clothing, use one of the clothing backers. To use on in a shoe, there are shoe sheilds that cover the entire lable to help protect it. Since Hannah doesn't wear shoes yet and I didn't want to place a lable on her clothes since she's growing out of them so fast, I put one on the next best thing: her sippy cup. That cup has been through hell and back over the last two weeks. It's soaked in the sink, bounced around in the diaper bag, was thrown around the living room....and the label still looks like new. Hannah's even been trying to chew it off the past several days, and there's not a scratch on it. These labels are great, and I look forward to being able to use them once Hannah starts school in a few years. They are a little pricy, but it's money well spent. Product Review – So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook
So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook is made by Fresh Baby, a company who helps promoet healthy eating. The cookbook has 35 recipies with all the nutrition information and serving sizes. There is also a section of tips concerning food time. Almost all of the recipies look really good, thought there are a few that I personaly wouldn't try. The recipie I liked the best was the black bean soup. It's very easy and inexpensive to make. It's also quick to make, considering that you have to use a food processer to puree the soup. The recipe made enought for all of us to eat on for about two days with some left overs. Hannah loved it so much, that I made another batch just to freeze so she could have it frequently. The only problem that I noticed was that the directions left out one of the ingredients; the green chilies. I just went ahead and tossed them in with what was being processed. Overall, I'm very pleased with this book and plan on making several of the other recipes in it. The ...
Product Review – Story Time For Me
Story Time For Me is a website that has online children's books for toddlers and young readers. Once you choose the story you want to read, the player displays it like a book. You can turn the page and interact it with it. As the narrator reads the story, the words are highlighted. The pages are also animated, which can be toggled on or off. The sign up process was quick and easy, while the website is a breeze to navigate. The prices are good ss well. If you only want to buy one book, it's $8 however. But, if you get the packs, the prices are a lot better. You only have to pay for a story once. It will be added to your story list and you be able to access it whenever you want. The site also offers a kids safe internet browser, and well as friendly forums that are monitored 24 hours a day. I thought that the stories were very cute and my daughter seemed to enjoy them. I know that she will get a lot of use out of them once she gets a little older. As a special offer to all my ...
Product Review: SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Socks
For the past two weeks, I have been trying out SmartKnitKIDS seamless socks. I received an adult pair for myself and two pairs for Hannah. The socks are seamless and form fitting, so they do not slide down with wear. After wearing them, I must they that they are absolutely wonderful. Hananh always has a tendency to pull off her socks or just simply wiggle out of them. With the SmartKnitKIDS, she was unable to do so. In fact, they didn't bother her one bit. I myself usually buy the ankle cut socks since the crew socks always slide down. These stayed up even while exercising. They will be great to wear with jeans once it gets colder. The other great thing about them is that my feet didn't sweat in them at all. In fact, I intentionally wore them three days in a row to test out the claim that fibers in the sock inhibits odor. Sound gross, I know, but I usually end up having to change my socks a few times a day due to getting wet and grimy. The SmartKnitKIDS beat my expectations by a ...

Product Review: Pampers Swaddlers
While in the hospital after Hannah was born, we were provided with Swaddlers. I've always thought of Pampers as being a very good brand, being that it is usually the first name you think of in diapers. However, I was sorely disappointed after using only a few diapers. The diapers were not absorbant at all. Everything seemed to run right out the sides and back no matter how sung you make them fit. Hannah also developed horrible diaper rash almost immediately after the first diaper was put on. Her entire bottom was red, as well as her front, and she was sore to the touch. It only got worse with each changing. Not even Desitin helped. We were stuck using them for about 3 days until I was discharged from the hospital. Once we got home and started using Huggies, the rash went away after about 12 hours.Since then, Pampers has come out with the new Dry Max which has been causing extreme diaper rash with infants that almost look like chemical burns. I'm not sure if the Pampers at the hospital ...
