A few weeks ago, I was asked to test out SmoothMove boxes. SmoothMove is owned by Bankers Box, who makes office/paperwork storage boxes of the same name. They sell several types of boxes that are geared toward helping you move. When I was first contacted, they asked which type of box I wanted a sample of. They carry normal tape-up boxes, FastFold tapeless boxes, a variety of specialty boxes & assorted packing accessories (bubble wrap, tape, ect…). I figured that I would be sent one box or two. Imagine my complete surprise when UPS showed up at 8:30 pm with three huge boxes and a small one. In total I received one pack of Dish Moving boxes (4 boxes), one pack of large FastFold boxes (6 boxes), 4 Mirror boxes & a tape dispenser. All of the boxes are think & sturdy and seem like they could easily withstand a bad trip in a moving truck. All of them hold a large amount of stuff, so as long as you pack it properly you shouldn’t have a problem. The mirror boxes are ...

Product Review – Shari’s Berries
Last week, I was invited to try out Shari’s Berries, a site that sends out dipped strawberries, cookies, cakes & more. They run advertisements on tv during the holidays, so you may already be familiar with them. I’ve seen their commercials that are run at different times of the year, but have never really looked at the site before. I really only expected to see mostly strawberries, and was completely overwhelmed by all that they offer. They have everything from cupcakes to cookies, & even cakes and candy. I decided that since my daughter’s birthday is coming up (this weekend), I would get something for her. I viewed the Birthday for Her section, located on the Occasions menu tab. After looking through everything, I picked the Giant Gourmet Chocolate Chip Cookies. They will last her a while & I know that she will enjoy them. I then turned my attention to the strawberries, and got a half-dozen for myself & my husband (but mostly for me since he’s not all that ...
Pine Brothers Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A few weeks ago, I was sent some bags & pucks of Pine Brothers Throat Drops. Pine Brothers have been around since 1870 and their throat drops are different than the ones you normally seen in stores. Their drops are softish…in other words, quasi-gummy.I was very surprised when I received my sample package & pulled out bag after bag of throat drops. I was sent the Combo Family Pack (Cherry & Lemon flavors), and we immediately put them to good use over the course of the last month while we have all been in various stages of ‘plague’. The drops are hard until you put them in your mouth. Once they get moistened, they turn gummy enough that you can gnaw on them for an extended period of time without breaking apart…giving them more than enough time to kick in. Other throat drops I’ve used in the past only seem to numb my mouth. That’s great if I have a toothache, but it does nothing for my throat. The Pine Bros. drops don’t affect my mouth in any way and works almost immediately on my ...
Product Review – Ateevia Botanica PRIME
A few weeks ago, I was sent a sample of Ateevia Botanica’s PRIME, an anti-inflamatory cream. PRIME is made from organic & all natural ingredients, giving it a very unique look and feel. It is effective in providing relief from some of the most common pain conditions in joints, muscles, and tissues…including arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, strains and more.I was excited to try this out since I’ve been having a lot of pain after my knee surgery & I’m still getting random pain from carpal tunnel in my hand. I was surprised at the consistency and look to the cream. It’s kind of a greenish/brownish color and very oily. It also doesn’t have much of a smell, through you do get a bit of a plant (best way to describe it) smell right after you put it on…but it’s not bad.I started out using it on my left knee where the joint had been sore from having to support more of my body weight since the surgery. The pain was gone in a matter of minutes and didn’t come back the rest of the day. ...
ICaughtSanta Review & Flash Giveaway [ENDED]
It’s Christmas time again, and that means it time for us to be catching Santa in the act with iCaughtSanta.com. iCaughtSanta.com has become a bit of a family tradition since my daughter loves it so much. The site allows you to upload a pic of your tree or yard and then insert Santa into it.The upload process is quick and easy, and only takes about a minute. Then you can adjust your photo and pick out your Santa. This year, they have added in some reindeer, so there are several new poses to choose from. I did have a little bit of trouble getting the pictures to load when trying to use the load button. I solved this by clicking Show All Images and selecting from there. You can also add a border if you want as well. Once you are done, it only takes a few seconds to check out & pay. Then all you have to do is download your image and you’re all done.Overall, iCaughtSanta is great, inexpensive way to create some fun memories for your family…especially your little ones. It only ...
NOVICA Gift Finder Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A few days ago, I was asked to try out NOVICA’s new Gift Finder. I reviewed NOVICA earlier this year and found it to be a wonderful site where you can get all sorts of unique items and gifts. The Gift Finder basically breakers down everything on the site into categories to help you quickly find what you are looking for. For example, if you want something inexpensive, you just click on ‘Under $20’. There are dozens of sections to choose from, including ‘Gifts for Him’, ‘Jewelry’, & ‘Suggestions’. I wasn’t too sure what I was looking for, so I searched around in the ‘Under $20’ & ‘Gifts for Him’. Within ten minutes, I found a great gift for a good friend of mine and a neat gift for my husband. As always, check out was quick and easy, & I was able to pay with PayPal. Overall, the Gift Finder is a great addition to an already exceptional site. It cuts your shopping time in half & really has a great selection of times. You can try the Gift Finder out for yourself ...
