Bumbums & Baubles Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
Last week, I was asked to check out Bumbums & Baubles new Lily Mary Jane shoes. Bumbums & Baubles sell girls shoes that can be customized with removable baubles, which range from bows to flowers. The baubles attach to the shoes by either the strap on the end of the shoe or by the ankle strap. My daughter picked out the Pink Sparkle. The shoes look very cute on the site, but are absolutely adorable when you receive them. They are a princess pink with sparkles on the toes. They come with matching bow baubles already attached. I also received a pair of ballerina baubles too. They were very easy to attach since all you have to do is slide them on to the strap. My daughter went totally gaga over them. She calls them her ‘princess’ shoes and she would not take them off for anything. I had to wait until she dozed off during her nap to get them off. The shoes were a little snug on her, but that is due to the fact that she’s just about ready for a size 9. Overall, I ...
Product Review – 16×20 Printcopia Canvas
A few weeks back, I was asked to once again review Printcopia. Printcopia let’s you make prints, canvases, framed photos & acrylic prints of your photos. Last time, I got an 8x10 canvas. This time around, I got to get a 16x20 canvas. After a few days of debate, I decided to get one of my photos from Rockport printed. I went with one of a pelican sitting on a fishing boat. As like the last time, it only took a few minutes to upload and adjust the picture how I wanted it. I forwent the extra editing since this particular shoot didn’t need it. I received the print within a week. I came out great. They did any excellent job wrapping the canvas and the print itself looks wonderful. Its very attention getting and I’ve gotten lots of comments on it. Overall, Printcopia is still a great place to go to get prints of any kind. The prices are reasonable and the shipping is super quick. Prices will vary depending on what you are getting. The canvas print I ordered was $113 ...
Product Review — Greek & Roman Costumes @ Wholesale Halloween Costumes
Last week, I got to pick out a Halloween costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes. Wholesale Halloween Costumes offers a wide variety of the hottest costumes & accessories at discount prices. Since having my daughter, I’ve had a hard time finding larger size costumes that look good. However, this site has a bunch of them. I ended up checking out the Greek & Roman costumes, where I found the Women Plus Size Olympic Goddess Costume. It’s the classic Roman Goddess costume, in an off white/yellow color. It comes in several sizes, up to 3X. The site also has a variety of wigs and accessories to go along with it. I ended up ordering a pair of sandals & circlet (the shoes & circlet have not arrived at the time of writing) to go along with it. I also ordered an Athena wig. The costume dress arrived within a week, and I love the way it looks. The color is perfect and it fits well. It really looks like something out of an old gladiator movie. The bottom half is a ...
Product Review — Yesterland Farm
I got the chance to take my family out to Yesterland Farm over the weekend. US Family Guide provided 4 free tickets. Yesterland Farm is open September through November, and is currently running is Fall Festival. There rides for kids, a corn maze, corn & pumpkin cannons, pig races & more. We had never been before, and were excited for the chance to go. The weather wasn’t exactly the best due to a massive line of storms…which had already forced the Rangers game to move up to a 11 am game instead of the evening (GO RQANGERS!). It had already been raining some when we headed out towards Canton, but it cleared up as we got to the farm. Aside from being very humid, it was very nice out. After going through the entrance, we slowly wandered around taking everything in. My daughter immediately started going over to random pumpkins, picking them up while we looked at the food hut & a few of the rides that were right there. We them made around way over to the pig ...
Product Review — Matcha DNA
For the past two weeks, I have been trying out Matcha DNA. Matcha is a powered green tea that is very healthy for you to drink. It’s grown in China & is also used for tea ceremonies in Japan. I’m not a big green tea drink, but my husband is. He was very excited about trying it out since it’s one we don’t normally get. I received a bag with 34 single serve pouches. Preparation is pretty easy. Once you boil your water, you want to put to warm up your cup. I did this by filling it up with the hot water, then emptying it out. You then add in the tea powder, & then your water. You will then want to stir it very well to make sure that all of the powder dissolves. You can use a spoon or a small whisk. It tastes really good. It’s not overly strong and tastes just like what you would get in restaurants. My husband loves it and has already gone through a good bit of the pouches. I also like it, though it’s hard to get any since my husband conveniently uses up all the ...
