A few weeks back, I was sent a copy of the NNAT®2 Practice Workbook from The Test Tutor. The book is designed to help children prepare for the NNAT®2, a test that looks at the general intellectual ability of children. The book covers grades K (age 5) through 12, has 85 full-color exercises & answer key, test & scoring details, and test taking strategies. When I first received the book I had no idea what the NNAT®2 even was. After looking it up, I still don’t really know. From what I understand, it’s basically a test to see if your child is gifted and/or talented. It gives teachers an idea of how children will perform during their school years. It tests pattern completion, reason by analogy, serial reasoning & spatial visualization. Apparently, many schools now have students take this test at some point in their early years. Basically, the questions in the workbook are predominantly shape and pattern related…sort of like the stuff they do on Team Umizoomi. Your ...

Product Review – Magid Disposable Nitile Gloves
I was recently sent a box of nitrile gloves from Magid. The disposable gloves are blue with a rolled cuff, and are powered inside. They are also ambidextorous. The gloves are available in sizes S to 2XL. The gloves are better than disposable vinyl & latex due to their superior fit and better puncture, abrasion, & chemical resistance. They have enhanced durability and are slightly thinner, reducing hand fatigue. They are ideal for use in automotive, janitorial, general maintenance, manufacturing and food processing applications. They are also excellent for jobs around the house. My skin is fairly sensitive, so I usually have to wear gloves when I'm using any type of strong cleaner. I would normally use my dish gloves, but bleach and other harsh chemicals tend to quickly eat through the material. The nitrile gloves, however, easily stands up to everything I can throw at them and I don't have to worry about having to replace them. They also come in handy for craft ...
Product Review – Magid EconoWear Shoe Covers
A few weeks back, I was sent some Magid EconoWear shoe covers. The covers tear and puncture resistant, and have elastic at the ankles. They are disposable and can be used for a large number of projects. The covers are available in various sizes, and easily slip over your shoes. I found them great for when I'm cleaning the floor. I can put them on over my socks or shoes and not have to worry about leaving foot prints. They are especially useful in the dining room where the floor is already messed up. It tends to stay sticky no matter what you do due to poor air circulation. The covers don't stick as much as socks do, so they are perfect. They are also great for DIY projects such as painting a room. Not only will they protect your shoes from paint drops, but you can take them off when your getting ready to leave the room and not run the risk of tracking paint everywhere. The uses are endless. Overall, the shoe covers are very useful. They can be used for all sorts of ...
Home Organization Binder 101 Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
A few weeks back, Ashley from Sweetpea Lifestyle sent me a copy of her Home Organization Binder 101. The digital binder contains helpful templates that you can use to help you plan out all of your daily activities. Basically, the binder is 13 image files that you can print out as needed. They cover everything from grocery lists to cleaning schedules. There is even a blog planner that covers the entire month, which I have found to most useful for keeping track of my giveaways. Even if you don't necessarily need all the items covered, you can easily build on it to easily cover your weekly routine. Unfortunately, even with the planner I'm still a completely disorganized person at best, but it has help me get back on track a bit. The only down side is that it costs $60 . . . which at first I though was a typo on the website. If you are really needing to get organized, then this would be worth it if you don't mind paying for it. If your interested in checking it out, you can ...
