Audiences were mesmerized by Disney's live-action epic adventure "The Jungle Book," which has earned more than $911 million at the global box office to date. I saw it with my daughter & parents, and we all absolutely loved it. Jon Favreau did a wonderful job adapting it for the big screen, and the CGI was flawless. The movie will be available early on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on August 23, and on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On-Demand on August 30. Last week, I reviewed JORD Watches. I received a beautiful watch, the Sully in Red Sandalwood & Maple. It is simply stunning. The watch is completely wooden, excepted for the internal clock parts and the metal clasp. The clasp is hidden so that you don’t see it at all unless you release it to take the watch off. I've gotten a ton of comments on it. People think it’s beautiful and different. They are very surprised to see that it’s entirely make of wood. I love it. It’s a mix of classy, elegant, and modern. Goldie & Bear Review & Giveaway [ENDED]
Goldie & Bear is the newest show that is currently airing on Disney Junior. It picks up where Goldilocks and the Three Bears ended and follows the adventures of best friends Goldie and Bear. They are joined by their friends, who are very familiar fairytale & nursery rhyme characters. The first collection of episodes, titled Best Fairytale Friends, recently released on DVD. It contains 7 full episodes & has a free playtime fun set included as well. My daughter is a huge fan of the show, and was very excited to get a copy of the DVD. It contains her favorite episode Pinocchio-itis. Goldie catches Pinocchio-itis after telling a fib, making her nose grow. The more she fibs, the more it grows...just like Pinocchio. Unfortunately, Bears’ parents need her to distract him so that they can finish building a present for him & have no idea she has it.
