I have felt absolutely miserable the past few days. I don't know if it's the heat or if I'm coming down with some sort of stomach thing...but I wish I could just get to feeling better.Whats worse is that I didn't sleep at all last night and I'm dead on my feet. I felt like I had a few gallons of caffeine in my system. And I wasn't the only one! My mom and my friend Davis both had similar experiences last night. Ehh...hopefully tonight will be different. ...

It was way to hot to do much of anything today. The temp reached a high of 105 today...but my weather display said that the 'real feel' temp was 120! I can't wait till that heat dome breaks up. This is ridiculous. ...
What is the point of having a local Food Pantry if your going to hand the food out to the entire town?
At about 10 this morning, as I was getting ready to go and check the mailbox, so guy walked up with a grocery bag full of stuff. He said he was part of the Adopt-A-Block program from the First Assembly of God Church, shoved the bag at me and left...leaving me standing in the door quite befuddled. I watched as they went to every single house on the street handing out bags, everyone looking just as confused as I felt.I looked their webiste and found that not only do they run the Food Pantry for the town, but they are going to be roving around on the weekends handing out stuff for the foreseable future. It pisses me off to find out that the items that myself and countless others in town have donated are being wasted by handing it out to people who don't even need it. There are people here in town that really could use that food. I was going to take it back up there, but now I think I'm going to give it to the Forney Food Pantry instead since I know that it will go out to a family who ...
Hurray for Air Conditioning!
We got the air conditioning fixed yesterday early yesterday. The fuses blew due to the extreme heat we have been having. It got up to 114 yesterday, and it's already 110 right now. It took most of the day to cool back down, so we ended up having Hannah spend Tuesday night and most of yesterday over at my parent's house. They were happy to have her, and she enjoyed chasing the cats around. ...
