Due to going out of town tomorrow for vacation, I am going to be ending the Space Warriors Giveaway early, at 8 pm CST tonight. Sorry for the lack of updates
Sorry for the lack of activity around here for the past few days. My sinuses blew up after I got back from my overnight trip in Mineola and I've been mostly curled up on the couch. I'm a little better today but it's not clearing up. Since this seems to happen every three months, regardless of the time of year, I am going to see if my doctor can get me a prescription for something stronger since Clarintin & other OTC meds are not working. Anyway, I've got a few reviews to post today (once I finish them) and I'm going to try to get through some more review/post labels so that I can get the menu bar in order. ...
Busy Week Ahead
I've got a lot going on this week. I've mostly gotten caught up on my reviews for the time being. There's just one more to go, which I'll do tomorrow. I'm slowly working on going through all the labels and consolidating everything down for easier searching. I've added a few more sections under Product Reviews on the drop-down menu. Hopefully I can get it all done soon.On the commissions front for my design business: I've got a new book cover to start work on, as well as finish up a web site design for ISeeGhosts.com. I'm also working on getting a blog going for Supernatural Researchers of Texas (SRT), which I will be posting to regularly. I've already designed a logo, business cards and car door magnets for them. I will be adapting the logo for a members only t-shirt. The company I'm getting the shirt made at will be reviewed here on the blog once I get it done.I'll be out for most of the afternoon tomorrow on a walk through as part of an upcoming investigation for SRT. I'm fiddling with the menu a bit. I'm working on switching it over to a drop down menu. I've gotten most of it switched over, but I'm going to be going back through the product reviews and labeling them by category. Once I do that, the review tab will also have a drop menu. My goal is to be able to get rid of the label box & making the site easier to navigate. ...

Things are going to be a little slow around here for a few days at least. I'm sick with either a cold, flu or severe sinus infection. I'm going to the doctor a little later today to get looked at, so hopfully I'll be better by the end of the weekend.Also, I'm totally backed up on on reviews...and I've been getting several new offers a day this week. A Quick Question for Fellow Bloggers
I have a bit of a question/problem and I was wondering if I could pick some fellower bloggers brians for a bit. Since the last Google SEO update, websites have been getting penalized for 'sponsored posts' &/or 'unnatural linking'. Since then, I have been getting bombarded with emails from people and companies wanting me to either remove links past paid advertisements. I've even had a few requests for this to be done with product reviews as well.For the most part, I've had no problem with it. But this morning, I got a request to remove the 'sponsored post' disclaimer from an add I wrote earlier in the year. They even tried to make it sound like they have contacted me previously about this and have been ignored, even though that is not true. This irritates me since it is my general policy to note whenever a post is sponsored in any way, shape or form. It's not me being picky...it's me being honest with my readers & being ethical.My solution so far is that I've switched their links ...
