Product Review – Ellore Femme Make Up Brush Kit
Last week, I was sent an Ellore Femme Make Up Brush Kit. The kit contains 24 professional makeup brushes that are designed for foundation, blush, eye shadow, and more. The bristles are made of made from natural animal hair and synthetic fibers. The kit comes in a roll up case for that makes is easy for transport. I’ve never any professional brushes before, nor any that are near as nice as these. I don’t normally wear makeup on a daily basis. I only use it when I’m going out for something special or need a bit of foundation to cover up some blemishes. However, we get really into Halloween around her and having a good set of brushes are essential. The set has literally every brush imaginable, and few I didn’t think I would ever need but am now determined to use them for something. I really like the smaller detail brushes since its a lot easier to get eye shadow on with them. They are also going to be very useful when doing theatrical makeup for both Halloween and when I’m ...
Product Review — Orgainc Matcha Green Tea Powder from KissMe Orgaincs
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. A few weeks back, I was sent a 4oz bag of culinary grade organic matcha tea from KissMe Organics. Matcha tea helps improve focus, boost metabolism, and gives you an energy boost. The matcha power comes in a resealable pouch and is a vibrant green. Since this is culinary grade, it will taste best when mixed into drinks and food. There are tons of recipes out there that you can make with this, & KissMe Organics has a free downloadable recipe book you can get off their site. I've tried out two of the drinks from it so far, the latte and the orange juice cocktail. I'm using soy milk to make it (as per the recipe), and is really good. I add in a bit of vanilla extract to it to help cut the soy flavor. The orange juice cocktail is also good. I’ve been adding about a teaspoon full into my smoothies too. My husband has been drinking it straight as hot tea. I thought it was a little bitter without adding sugar, but ...
That Awkward Moment When…
...you receive a promo pack for a movie (aptly titled 'That Awkward Moment') and are not expecting to get drink stirrers with penises on them. Yeah. That made for fun times when my 3 year old saw them and asked me what they were. I told here they were trash & tossed them. If I had realized that they were going to be in the pack, I wouldn't have gotten it. Oh well. Another lesson on the importance of reading the fine print. ...

Save Money On Car Repairs & Maintnence with Zubie
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zubie for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. I remember how excited it was to get my first car. It was a red Plymouth Neon with the Espresso trim package. I was ready to take off and go wherever. However, I was unprepared to deal with all the expenses that come with car ownership. Over the time that I owned that car, I had to replace speakers, change oil, replace the sparkplug housing (which led to my sparkplugs constantly blowing apart due to an error by the mechanic), and other sorts of maintenance. As a college student at the time, it was failry expensive for me, but doable. My current vehicle, a ’96 4RUNNER, tends to be a pain in the butt. The previous owner put over 150,000 miles on it and didn’t once take care of it. We’ve put a lot of time and money into it, and there are still issues with it. Primarily, the sunroof leaks. I learned that you have to blow the lines out periodically to keep them from getting ...
