Product Review – Blackhead Remover Vacuum with Camera

September 30, 2020

Blackhead Remover

Last week, I was asked to try out the Blackhead Remover Vacuum with Camera from Shangruo. This remover uses gentle suction to remove dirt and oil from pores. It has a built-in WiFi camera that pairs with your smartphone via an app so you can see closeup exactly what you are doing. It also comes with several removable heads and can be plugged into a USB port to charge.

I’m constantly seeing all sorts of similar products being advertised on Facebook and have been interested in trying one out to see how well they work. I thought that the camera sounded like a cool bonus as I hadn’t seen any that had one.

The blackhead remover is relatively straight forward to use. Choose your head and turn it on. Per the instructions, you should only leave it in one spot for only a few seconds. It will make your skin red for a little bit. I could see some oil going up in to the head, but couldn’t tell if there was any dirt. So I decided to try out the camera to see how well the device was actually working.

I was able to download the app from the Google App store. During installation, it started asking for the standard permissions: access to your camera and access to storage. However, it apparently needs to also be able to make calls and needs your location. Now when I start the app, it keeps wanting to know my location & doesn’t do anything else. So trying to get the camera working is still a bit of a work in progress.

Overall, it works but I’m still not too sure how well. I will be doing a video review in the next day or so to demonstrate how the remover works. Hopefully, I’ll have the camera working by then. This blackhead remover is available on Amazon.

I received the above mentioned product at a discount for a review. All opinions are 100% my own.
