Several weeks back, I was sent an electric epilator by Finishing Touch to try out and review. This laser epilator is rechargeable and has two different razor heads that can be used.
I have been on the hunt for a good, affordable electric razor for some time now. First of all, when I first saw this it was billed as a ‘laser razor’. I took that to mean that it was one of those that helped stop the hard from growing eventually. However, all this razor has is a light that detects when the razor comes into contact with skin…meaning it will only run when it’s on your skin.
I tried really hard to find ways to get this epilator to work. The foil covered head can’t cut anything. I don’t know if it because the blades are dull or if it’s because the hair cannot get through the foil. I let my legs get pretty stubbly, which isn’t fun. Nothing. Nada. Zip. The buzzer blade/head does work, but its not enough to make this razor worth getting.
Overall, this epilator was somewhat disappointing. I’m back on the hunt for a good electric razor. If you are curious about checking this one out for yourself, it’s available on Shopkeeper.
