Disney’s Big Hero 6: The Series – Back in Action takes place just before the end of the hit Big Hero 6, following Hiro Hamado as he rebuilds Baymax and works to protect San Fransokyo with his friends. This collection of episodes includes the first 7 episodes of the series and also 6 shorts featuring Baymax and the team.

a line wedding dressesI loved Big Hero 6 and have been super excited to see the series when they announced it last year. The series is every bit as enjoyable as the movie and my daughter and I both love it. I think our favorite episode is Food Fight, where Aunt Cass gets addicted to competing in underground cooking competitions. It was a hilarious take on Iron Chef and there is even a nod to Gordon Ramsay. In a reversal of roles, Aunt Cass sneaks out at night to compete, with Hiro having to be the responsible one and go out to find her.

Overall, the series is off to a great start and I can’t wait to watch more episodes. I really hope that they will make a sequel movie soon as well. Big Hero 6 The Series – Back in Action is available now in stores.

I received the above mentioned DVD for free to help facilitate my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
