Last week, I was asked to test out and review the Tea & Fruit Infusion Pitcher from Miami Wata. The pitcher holds 2.1 quarts of water and comes with a plastic fruit infusion attachment, a metal teat infuser basket attachment, and a bonus ice ball maker.
I have never attempted to make fruit infusion water before, and in fact have never tried any either. I ended up having to get some frozen fruit because the stores haven’t have much fresh stuff lately…which is where I think the infusion water went wrong. I put the fruit in the infuser and then screwed it to the underside of the lid. After filling the pitcher, I let it sit overnight.
The next day everyone decided to try it while I was at work. No one liked it at all and even adding sugar to it didn’t help. I let it sit another day before trying it again. It still didn’t taste good. I’ve refilled it since with lemons for lemon water to see how that does, but I think we will be getting more use out of it as a tea pitcher.
Overall, it’s a great pitcher. I just haven’t figured out the right combination of fruit for the water yet. I definitely think fresh fruit is the way to go, so I’ll have to give it another try soon. The pitcher is available on Amazon for $21.97 (+ shipping).
I received the above mentioned product for a discount for a review. All opinions are 100% my own.
