TV Review – iZombie Season 2

July 23, 2016

iZombie Season 2Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.

A few weeks back, I was sent a DVD copy of iZombie Season 2 to watch and review.  Picking up three months after the end of season 1, Liv is rekindling romance with Major while Ravie is working on recreating the zombie cure.  Blane is human once again, but still causing trouble.  Plus, there is an even bigger bad guy than Blaine out there and is spying on everyone via Liv’s new roommate.

This season certainly didn’t lose any of it steam and was every bit as funny & entertaining as last season.  It is a fresh take on zombies and I can’t get enough of it.  I missed several episodes during the season, so I really enjoyed the chance to get completely caught up during vacation.  Rose McIver is able to slip seamlessly into different characters and any scene with David Anders is just great.  I can’t really pick a favorite episode because I like all of them.

Overall, it’s a great show and I’m looking forward to the premier of season 3.  The DVD special features include deleted scenes and a 2015 Comic-Con panel featurette.  Season 2 is available on both DVD, Digital HD, and Blu-ray wherever videos are sold.
